FUparking

Stop circling the block. FUparking connects drivers who are about to leave a street parking spot with drivers who need one, in real time. Looking for parking? Open the live map and see spots opening near you right now. Every pin is a real driver who is about to pull out. Tap to see the exact location, the driver's rating, and your ETA. Claim the spot for $7 and get turn-by-turn directions straight to it. No more guessing, no more twenty minutes of hunting. About to leave your spot? Post it in under ten seconds. Your location fills in automatically, you pick when you are leaving, and that is it. When another driver claims it and the handoff completes, you earn $5. It costs you nothing and takes a few seconds you were spending anyway. How it works - A parked driver posts the spot they are about to leave - A nearby driver claims it on the live map - Both parties coordinate the handoff through in-app chat and live location - Payment settles automatically once the handoff is confirmed Built for trust - Both sides rate each other after every exchange. - Handoff outcomes are confirmed by GPS, not by self-reporting, so nobody can game the system. - Payments are held securely by Stripe until the exchange completes. FUparking is launching on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and expanding from there.
