Broken app

When it worked, it was a fantastic app, which was full of education, plans, and tools. Recently, it will not even load the app at all and gives a constant error message. I even tried deleting and reinstalling the app without any luck. Please consider updating your app for further consideration

Get it right and we’ll stop giving you (1) star!

Created account waited for confirmation number, confirmation number didn’t work. Attempted it twice. Still didn’t work deleted the app and gave you one star.

Response from developer

I'm sorry you had difficulties with confirmation number and activating your account. That's no good! If you're open to giving me another chance I'll make sure you can access the Furnitology app. And, once in the app I think you like what you see. Please reach out to me at hello@furnitology.com and I'll make this right for you. Thank you!

Fantastic App and Responsive Developer

I have used this app for a few days based on the advise of Rex Krueger. I have found it to be a wealth of convenient information and tools. I noticed earlier the app said it was unresponsive so I filled out a form on the website thinking I may hear something in a few weeks or the app would magically get fixed with no response. However, instead Cody replied within minutes and after a few responses back and forth the app was up and running on the same day!!! Definitely worth using and appears to have a large ability to grow in time so I decided to provide support monthly!

A great and growing resource

I started using the app when it was brand new, and frankly, wasn’t sure how useful it would be. But over time it’s expanded with more members, tools, and functionality that make it a great resource. I think it will continue to get even better.

Response from developer

Thank you for your 5 star rating! It's a pleasure to hear you are finding value from Furnitology, and that you recognize our commitment to continually make the app a better and better resource for woodworkers. We appreciate your support!

Have to set account

Nothing against this little app, but I’ll never know if it’s useful or not. I’m just tired of having to set up an account before I even know what is in the app. My inbox is already overflowing with emails I care little about, I simply deleted the app.

Response from developer

Hello. I'm Cody, the founder of Furnitology. I want to provide context as to why an account is required to use the app. For any app that allows user-generated content, which Furnitology does, Apple requires that moderation tools be in place. Moderation tools enable users to report, block other members, and flag inappropriate content. Requiring an account also provides a more secure app that protects users and the app itself. Yes, you have to create an account, but once you're in the app, there is tons of great content, project plans, instruction, and many other great features. So I hope you'll reconsider giving it a shot. Regarding the 1 Star rating, if I understand you correctly, you downloaded the app, saw you had to create an account, and then immediately deleted it. So please give the app a try before deciding to give it the lowest rating possible. Furnitology is one person that self-funded the development of the app to provide a great resource to the woodworking community. Receiving a 1 Star rating impacts the views of others considering downloading the app. Apple also looks at reviews in how it ranks an app in search. So, there are real impacts to Furnitology for receiving a 1 Star rating, and the rating seems unfair given that you didn't try the app. I'm hoping you'll reconsider your rating or remove it entirely. Should you want to discuss this with me directly, please email me at support@furnitology.com. Thank you for your understanding and for hearing me out.
