L’application est devenu visuellement horrible on dirait un site web c’est degeulasse. Avant tout était bien et gratuit. Le capitalisme nous as tué.

Needing to pay to send a letter to yourself feels absurd. I’ve had this app since 2020 and never had to pay. These changes suck.

i’ve being using this app since maybe 2021 and the app was so smooth and everything is free.
all of a sudden i need to pay to send a letter???? not to mention how much the app design and flow has downgraded. i hate using the app now and it is NOT as smooth as before. i genuinely thought i downloaded a wrong version or something.
bring back the original and free version, this version sucks.

What happened?
This app used to be a decent little app! I’ve used the service for over a decade and thought the app was a nice addition. I even paid for the premium subscription to support them. I just signed in for the first time in a while and it’s awful. It runs like a web app now, it’s not like a real app. There are ads everywhere even though I’m a premium member. It was pretty sad to see what happened to it. The service is great, it’s unfortunate I can’t recommend this app anymore.

Webview is terrible
The new web view is just a way for them to sell more ads and it is genuinely terrible. It’s not even an app anymore, it’s basically a web browser page inside an app.

the app used to be really easy to use. i opened for the first time since at least october, and was shocked by the change. i honestly thought i had accidentally opened it in my browser, what with all the ads and the horrible layout. the new changes are appalling, and the user interface is a nightmare to use because of the constant ads which you cannot remove. the fact is, you now have to pay to send letters! how atrocious! i had so many plans to send letters to myself - but who wants to pay? i’ll just hand write them, make it truly special. i’m deleting my account and the app, and i recoiled you do too, or just never download it. i am truly disappointed with the new updates - who thought this was honestly a good idea?

Estaba toda tranquila escribiendo mi carta cuando termino ( iba por 750 palabras) pongo ‘send’ y me pone tenes q pagar y yo tipo ni en pedo mejor me auto mando un correo con fecha d tres años y de la nada veo q no puedo volver atras. Chicos perdi la carta de 750 palabras lit se me borro alta mierda

Miss the old version
I’ve been sending letters on this app for several years now. I recently uploaded the new update and absolutely hate it. After I send a letter, I’m stuck on the screen that forces me to pay and you can’t exit out of it or go back to the original screen. I have to exit out the app and reopen it each time. I used to be able to upload a photo or video for free and now there’s this emphasis on paying. I hate the design of the new app. It just lost that sentimental feeling of sending yourself a future letter. I’m gonna start looking for a different app to send myself future letters on

Greedy company/
I have been using FutureMe since mid 2018 and I have loved it. One of my favorite parts of it is how you could write unlimited FREE letters to yourself and you’d only have to pay if you wanted to attach a video or picture. Today I tried to write a letter to myself and when I go to send the letter it says I have to pay $2 to just send the letter!! I’m appalled and disappointed in them. I will no longer be using this app to send my letters. The devs have lost the plot and only care about money.

I have been using this app since 2024 I believe but it’s not worth it anymore you can write letters but not send them I wish this app wasn’t money hungry but honestly I don’t blame them 💔

i liked futureme back when it was only a website and it was free. now it has an app, great. but we have to pay? no thank you. i’m not even from the US so i don’t have dollars. i wish it was still free. bring it back :(

The entire app is just a wrapped web browser chock full of ads and paywalls. Awful awful stuff.

Good Idea, Poor Functionality
The app/email interface is redundant and it’s difficult to set up an account password. Like the app concept but poor execution.
