About

What does the world actually look like in 2030? 2040? 2048? FutureScope is a browsable timeline of 505 forecasts about the decades ahead — each one scored for confidence, each one citing the named institutions it came from. No hype, no horoscopes. Just what serious forecasters currently expect, laid out year by year. — — — A LIBRARY, NOT A FEED 505 hand-curated forecasts spanning 2025 to 2048, across eight subjects: Economy, Geopolitics, Technology, Climate, Space, Health, Society and Energy. Read it the way you'd read a history book — except it runs forward. CONFIDENCE, SHOWN HONESTLY Every forecast carries a 0–100 confidence score and a plain-language band, from Very High down to Speculative. Nothing is presented as certain, because nothing about the future is. The speculative entries are labelled as speculative. SOURCED, EVERY TIME Each entry lists 3 to 5 real sources drawn from 135 organisations — international bodies, central banks, peer-reviewed journals, universities, policy institutes and public forecasting projects. If you don't trust a forecast, you can see exactly whose forecast it is. TIMELINE VIEW Flip from the feed into a chronological view and scroll straight through the years, 2025 onward. HAPPENING SOON A dedicated section surfaces forecasts whose target window is arriving now, plus a rotating Prediction of the Day. SEARCH, FILTER, SORT Full-text search across all 505 entries. Filter by category or by year. Sort by confidence, by global impact, or by date. Tap a tag to jump to everything related. MACRO CONTEXT Where relevant, an entry shows the direction it points for inflation, the US dollar and gold on a simple −3 to +3 scale. It is reading context, not a recommendation — see the note below. SAVE WHAT MATTERS Star any forecast to keep it in your Saved list. Stored on your device. SHARE Send any forecast to a friend through the standard share sheet. WORKS OFFLINE The whole library ships inside the app. No sign-up, no account, no login, no server call to read a single entry. Open it on a plane. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No tracking. Your saved list and reading stay on your device. — — — A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS FutureScope is a reference and curiosity app for people who like thinking about what's coming — readers, students, writers, planners, and the merely curious. Forecasts are uncertain by nature. Every entry here is a possibility with a confidence score attached, not a promise about the future, and some of them will simply turn out wrong. Nothing in this app is investment, financial, medical, legal or professional advice, and it should not be used to make those decisions. Sources are attributed for reference only. FutureScope is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any organisation it cites.
