Finally, a workout app that focuses BOTH on lifting and recovery

Okay, longer review but I’ve spent weeks testing through pretty much every popular lifting app on here, and Fuze is the best one I’ve used. It’s great for tracking sets and weights, but is the winner because of its *recovery* insights.

For basic function the logging features are top tier for a workout app. You can put together your whole routine with clear explanations for each exercise, but ALSO set a specific training style to follow, like Epley or Lombardi. I can track my set history, total volume lifted, set deloads, and get personal tips from my data to avoid plateaus. The rest timer keeps me on pace and makes progressive overload easier to stay consistent.

For me though, what I’ve always wanted and sets Fuze apart is how smart it is about RECOVERY. Instead of guessing whether my legs are ready for another squat day, it looks at how much I’ve done, how hard I’ve pushed, and tells me EXACTLY (down to the hour) how long I need to recover. The recovery section of the app is awesome and packed with science and explanations, and it’s actually helped me avoid overtraining or burnout, something I’ve struggled with before and herniated a disc. Avoiding injury now is very important!

Overall, TDLR: Fuze takes the guesswork out of training. It helps me work smarter, not harder. For tracking, planning, and recovery, I’ve found my app, and I’d recommend it for anyone serious about getting stronger, whether you’re a beginner or experienced lifter.
