I like the idea, but needs some fixes
For starters, the”stats” page is mostly useless. You can’t see the exact hours you hit in certain days, just a chart that shows you vague numbers. Also you have a limited ability to change the start of the cycle. I tried to make a new start date to know when to switch to the next set of invisalign, but it wouldn’t let me. Also the editing hours part isn’t working atm. Broken app.

They updated the app with a bunch of AI photos and now the instructions for taking photos are genuinely psychotic and make no sense. Also completely messed up my statistics and tells me I’m on different weeks of aligners in different places in the app. Insane that a medical device is allowed to have such a poorly made app.

App is frustrating
Repeatedly says images blurry when they are not. Always crashes after the third image is taken. Thank goodness it keeps the previous images. Your app needs some work.
FX App
Everytime we try and take pictures, it focuses on the face and not the teeth then it takes forever to upload the pictures. It’s so frustrating to use. Ugh. Please make improvements on this hard to use app.
too long to upload and it crashes
This app would be a convenient addition to the process if it was reliable. It has become a nightmare that makes me dread the already unpleasant photo upload. The most recent time I attempted to upload pictures it took 45 minutes to take 6 pictures and the app crashed on the 6th picture. I retook the pictures and now I have a message saying it needs to be done again. There should also be a way to message my Doctor. This app negates all the professionalism of my Doctor and makes this experience tedious and frustrating. Please fix this app.

Crashes and other problems
Occasionally crashing while taking pictures or submitting them, atleast once every time i use the app. And then what gets me irritated is when i try to take a picture up close it gets blurry and i cant fix that by tapping on the screen to focus like the regular camera. So i end up getting notified that i need better pictures. Well u guys need to fix a way so i can make it focus when i get closer to the teeth, not out of focus.

App performance mixed
Great concept, like the photo tracking and dentist feedback. My app often crashes in the middle of progress photos either while taking the photo or while it’s uploading. Sometimes my photos reload when the app does, other times I have to start over. I also get frustrated doing progress photos, with about half my photos coming out too blurry, which requires extra friction and time to complete and submit progress. I find it difficult to get the correct lighting and angle, even with good natural and focused lighting. The front selfie camera is easier to position, but doesn’t have a flash on my iPhone, which often results in blurry photos. The rear camera is hard to hold to get the correct angle, but comes out better with flash. I wish there was support for camera zoom as well. A few tweaks from this app’s development team could make this app much easier to adopt.

Please have better approach to take photos (send in batch), and have better developers (sorry devs) to use the advantage of the camera to take better photos! it can’t focus correctly! I have to use it otherwise I wouldn’t keep it on my phone for 1 more minute!

Worst App
This app makes it impossible to take a good picture, besides the bad support! (No chat available, phone makes you wait for ever, review of pictures taken on Friday is done on Monday)
I previously used other app that comes with a device and helps to take a very clear picture.

Needs improvement but happy it exists
I like that this is supposed to be accessible however the lag time between photos takes way too long. Several minutes. The overs photo process takes me about 15 minutes start to finish.
App crashes
I’ll be taking pictures and the app just crashes. Update today was not “bug fixes” but “updated instructions”. How about fixing the crashing first?

This app is the worst. It takes too much time for pics to load. When it does load it shuts down, sometimes saving last pic, sometimes not. Taking pics is nearly impossible as it constantly states “pictures are too blurry, retake” so frustrating for the user. I’m wondering if receiving pics makes any difference. Is this really worth my time&energy as a consumer? At my initial evaluation in August, I was told that my teeth would be straight and I’d be finished by March of the following year. Here I am three plus yrs after beginning w/ Ortho Fx and I’m still not done despite faithfully wearing my aligners. I very ready to be finished and very frustrated. My teeth look better but I’m not sure I can recommend to a friend. I want a refund.

The app needs work. Some of the features don’t work like the timeline of my treatment. The app occasionally crashes too.
Could be better
Doesn’t refocus so pictures always come out blurry. Button isn’t sensitive enough to take picture.
Took more time than expected
Didn’t realize It would be six photos, which too more time to process and upload between each photo. About 20 mins or more to do. Also app shhutdown on first day I did it so had To finish next am because I was going to be late for work. Need to have a window of time of about 30 mins to do first few times.

App keeps crashing, the AI always says that the photos are blurry, which they are, because photography 101 - you can’t get the entire row of teeth into focus!!!! and the FX reward points literally have no point whatsoever… for two years now the reward points system is “coming soon”. Ridiculous all around.
