Issues
I have an iPhone 8!with IOS 14.2. App closes frequently. Not able to delete car and purpose entries, very clunky. I do not recommend this app unless you like to be frustrated.
This App is Worthless
I have never downloaded an app before that was totally worthless. You cannot delete the default "Driver 1" or "Car 1" selections and when you add new car and driver selections it won't let you enter them into a mileage report. Additionally, it won't accept your mileage. This app is a fraud.
Great app

iOS 10 compatible , no more crashes And full screen. Glad I stuck it out. Perfect to keep up with mileage.
* update *
Developer has fixed issue and it's back to the solid app that it used to be plus it's got a fresh interface.
Solid app. Tracks. Exports. Since iOS 4.3 I can not track any trips

Sadly in need of an update
Last update was in 2012 !
Crashes frequently when entering destinations forcing user to start over again. Editing text? No cursor movement, can only backspace to error, then re-type. And that usually causes a crash.
Generally clumsy but tolerable user interface for "Details". Especially if more than one car in the family.

Not good for now
I love iXepenseIt so I also bought this as well But it is very hard to use. After an hour trying to get it to work I gave up. I got "miles bug" and after 5 minutes I was all set.
This program need to be broken down and redone from scratch to make it simple to use.
Entering new records is very confusing , it keeps going back to others ones I have already recorded and changing them instead.
Also some records after entering them do not even show up in the list. Not good. Plain and simple.

I like it, but a couple of suggestions
The app is good. However, I'd like to see the trip end time update automatically when I enter the ending odometer reading. As it is now you have to go into Detail > Edit, then click Save to update the ending time, and if you don't the app won't save the ending odometer reading -- I assume because it "thinks" you couldn't have driven [however many] miles in zero time. After much frustration wondering why the app would not save my end odometer reading I finally figured this out.

Add Trip Works
Great Update!
Previously Great App
Was great. Used it all the time. Was well worth $3 or more because I'm on road all the time. Then someone grew a brain. Now it won't allow new routes so it is worthless. Even the reports were excellent. Do not buy until fixed.
Was A Nice App, Crashes since 4.3
This was a nice application, and I used it frequently up until the v4.3 iOS update. Since that time, it crashes every time you try to add a new trip. Makes it pretty useless.

Updating -- no response from developer, hasn't even updated the website support form to reflect the availability of iPhone 4. Appears they have simply abandoned this application. Don't buy any of these applications.

Fix app please
Keeps crashing since update.
Needs Update
Since IOS 4.3, this app crashes when trying to add a trip. Useless app until the developer updates to fix this issue.
Unresponsive developer
If it weren't bad enough that you could inadvertently pull up reports and delete everything, now after the iOS 4.3 update, the app crashes when a new trip is initiated. So far the developer has not responded and the app is unusable.
Needs update!
This app has not had an update in over a year. Now it crashes when adding trip on iOS 4.3. Please fix soon.
Exactly what I was looking for
Needs a little work....
Look forward to great updates from the hard working crew at fyi

My favorite app!!!
This my favorite and most used app! It saves me money by keeping track of business miles. A great feature I like is that you can search for past trips and use that description for a new trip. For example, if you make a lot of trips to the PO Box, you search for a past trip of that name and it also tells you trip distance. Select it, and it the name and mileage gets copied over to your new trip!
If you want to be more accurate and detailed, you can input your current trip's starting odometer reading, then input the distance which you already know for the past trip. Then you don't have to worry about setting the ending odometer when you get back (or if you forget to), because its already done! So this app saves time too!

Attractive & Functional
Had the other app from these developers (iXpenseIt) initially, and decided to try this one out as well. Quick and easy way to keep track of detailed information on all your trips--great for me, because I use my car for personal and work purposes. I also love the fact that you can post directly to iXpenseIt, makes my life a lot easier. A must have for ppl who have to be on top of their mileage and deductions.

I do not know why the lousy reviews about this app
I have used this app for over a year. It works great! Can send mileage reports over email, wifi etc. Did I say that it works great? Yes, you have to click through a couple of screens to add details, but it is on an IPHONE, what do you expect!
ALMOST there! This app would be PERFECT with the following enhancements:
Let me preface this with saying I've tried most of the mileage logging apps in the Store. Some are too basic, some are too wieldy (too many options), making it a pain to log trips. I'm an airline pilot who moonlights as a real estate agent, so I'm very familiar with logging hours and/or miles! After MUCH research, I settled on this app. It's not there yet, but with a few relatively-minor enhancements, it could be about as good as it gets. Here's my feedback:
Hi, I just purchased your app and like it so far. Don't love it because it takes a long time for me to enter my trips (I'm switching over from a great Palm app, MileageX). However, with a few seemingly minor changes (I'm a web developer myself), this could be hands-down the best Mileage app in the Store:
1. I hate having to scroll the wheels to enter start/end mileage. It's easy when I already have the beginning mileage input (since ending mileage is usually somewhat close), but it's a ROYAL PAIN to do when I'm trying to enter all my 2009 trips en masse (and from different vehicles, hence different start mileages). Maybe this program just isn't capable of mass-entry. It would be MUCH simpler and easier to use if I could type the mileage in with the numeric keyboard. I could then do in 4 seconds what it takes me 20 seconds to do with your current system.
2. Speaking of mileage entry, you have too many digits! I think 6 digits is enough for 99.5% of the world's population. Only professional truckers are every even capable of putting that many miles on a vehicle, but their odometers only have 6 digits!! 7 digits just makes data entry more difficult, as the numbers are smaller. Ditch the unnecessary 7th digit and this will be immediately improved.
3. Add an option for turning the time on/off. The date function is essential, but how many of us actually track times? It's not required by the IRS, and only DOT requires times to be logged (i.e. professional truckers). I'm an airline pilot and am familiar with these regulations, but I think the time just clutters an otherwise clean interface. It would be great to add a setting to disable times, as I believe most folks using your program don't need the feature. Plus, most trucking companies have proprietary hour-tracking systems, as required by DOT, so they won't be relying on FYI for official documentation.
4. This might be a little more difficult for you, but the date entry for new trips is also a bit cumbersome and un-user-friendly for entering trips en masse. I know why you lumped the month and day together in the date scroll wheel, and that is fine for entering trips from the last several days. However, try entering all your trips from 2009!! Talk about a scroll-hungry app! If I have to enter a trip from April 2009, it takes 17 seconds of scrolling just to get to the date. Not very user-friendly! Plus, you can't even see that you've entered that trip for 2009 (vs 2010) until you switch screens. A better solution would be to split the day/month/year into separate scroll wheels, which would allow me to enter a trip from April 2009 in 5 seconds vs 17 seconds as it currently requires.
5. Could you please add an option to save recurring trip names. For example, I like to title my trips by my client's name (i.e. "Smith"), but I don't want to necessarily save it as a destination, because I'm driving them around town to different locations (versus going to the same address all the time). It would save time over having to type their name every time into the trip name header. The Palm program, MileageX had this, and it was very helpful...
Hopefully you see all my comments as constructive criticism. I'm trying to help make your app the best and simplest mileage logger in the store, which I believe it could be with the above-mentioned changes!

Bought this yesterday. No good
Buggy, would not save trips or carry over mileage.
