They are perfectly effective in that regard. However, as their player base has matured, the content has as well. This would not be an issue if children were not still a major part of the community. This (unofficial) Gacha app advertises explicit content to children. By framing it as something normal, something innocent, children are unaware that they are being taken advantage of. The app showcases a “Gacha Heat” game mod as one of its main selling points. If you are unaware, Gacha heat is simply another term used to normalize porn in a community full of minors. Really, Gacha heat is sexual content and porn of Gacha characters. I have seen many Gacha heat videos in which the characters portrayed are obviously and explicitly minors. I do not blame the creators, because they were very likely young children being brainwashed into a minset that normalizes pedophilia. The children making reviews on this app aren’t making bad reviews because there is sexual content. They are making bad reviews because it is hidden behind a paywall. Things like this need to be taken down, because it is so insanely dangerous for children to become accustomed to this. If they see it as normal, they won’t have a reason to speak out if they become a victim of child sexual abuse. I have seen it happen directly and personally through the darker side of the Gacha community. Children do not need access to porn, and they should be the last audience that sexual advertisements are directed towards. Take this app down. I am revolted. This is clearly a fetish.

As expected I’m disappointed
The reviews were correct about the payment issues. I downloaded the game yesterday but did not play it, as the advertisement appeared misleading. The ad used characters created by artists I follow on social media, not content from this app. I do not recommend this game unless you are willing to risk unexpected charges of $20 or more.
