Using your finger to move the spaceship is so slow and you have to be one step ahead to actually make the game work save your money don’t bother buying it

Hard to play
Control button needs to be wider or more responsive. It’s really hard to move properly. Such a shame as the graphics and sounds are great

Great game which was messed up
Really bad controls. If they would fix it to play like every other plane shooter out there this would have a 5 star rating and many more people would buy it.
Faithful but controls are hard
This is almost a perfect port of the original in terms of graphics and sound. The movement is not quite authentic esp. for the motherships and henchmen when they come down together. Also there is no bonus (I.e. 800 for getting all three). The worst part is that the left/right control is hard to be precise with which adds difficulty. Wish they could fix that.

Don’t waste money - Big disappointment
Big fan of this from years back. But The controls are so slow that it’s impossible to maneuver making this a flawed design and not worth playing beyond a couple times for nostalgia
Great graphics. Horrible controls.
This game could be great. It’s not. The graphics and design is spot on. Looks identical to Galaxian. The controls make it unplayable. Would be nice to have a different way to maneuver this ship and fire button.
Point system
In the arcade machine the flagship with two escorts were worth 800 points once the escorts were destroyed, in the app version, you can destroy the escorts and the flagship is worth the convoy points. It is only worth 800 if it leaves without a convoy. This should be corrected
Played and then died
I’m playing this thing. But now the sound has stopped for no reason at all. And there are no settings or controls to fix it.
Not like the original!!
This game is missing a few controls that are on the original. Level one is more difficult the joystick is slack in its movement I do like the rapidfire of the shooter but it needs more control over the game my demo of this game proved to have no sound either which is part of the effect. But for two bucks it’ll keep you from getting bored but if you really like this game the arcade style that is stay away from this one you will be disappointing for sure.

Can't find anyway to turn on the sound. Controls are a bit limiting but very much like the game I remember playing as a kid.
Disappointment
Not worth it. A classic game ruined with poor controls. Don’t waste your money. Make the controls far more responsive and get rid of the feint image of the handle as well and you have yourselves a winner. Otherwise- not not good. This applies to galaxia and scramble. What a shame.
To the developer
This is very close to the original, however I’ve noticed 2 things.
When 2 reds and a yellow fly down, killing the 2 reds followed by the yellow would give you 800 points for the yellow one alone and it would display this where the yellow alien was.
When killing a yellow alien it would for a time , slow the aliens from flying down.

To the developer .....
You are so close to nailing this but two issues that need addressing which are the scoring anomaly that has been well documented in the previous reviews but for me the most important one is the collision detection is way too forgiving.
If you play the arcade rom your missiles quite often fly between the Galaxians but on her you’re guaranteed a hit if you’re close enough.
However, kudos for including controller compatibility, it’s fantastic.
