I love this game it’s nostalgic but I bought the supernova dlc for $7 and it crashes after the second mission I want my money back :(

I’ve played this game on and off for more than a decade. I love it, and if you love space exploration adventures and piloting combative aviation ships, this one may most probably definitely be for you. Ps Jesus loves you homies.

Very good game. Non-monetized, non-gacha, just a solid game.
Get all the addons except the kaamo club. I say this because the kaamo club dlc removes one of the funnest fights in the game. Ship storage is not a problem unless you are playing so you can spend real money to collect ships.
Don’t be afraid to try Extreme difficulty - you’ll need to flee a lot, especially in early game, but it isn’t as bad as you might think other than that.

Compatibility Issues
Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is honestly one of the best mobile games ever made. The gameplay is incredibly fun and offers a rare amount of freedom—you can be a trader, bounty hunter, miner, pirate, or just explore the galaxy at your own pace. There’s an impressive amount of content, a genuinely engaging story, tons of ships and equipment to collect, and progression that keeps you coming back for more. The art direction and graphics have aged remarkably well, and it’s amazing how smoothly the game still runs. Even on a modern iPhone, it doesn’t drain the battery or turn the phone into a hand warmer like so many newer mobile games.
Unfortunately, newer versions of iOS have introduced several compatibility issues. Story missions sometimes say you’ve been paid (for example, “30,000 credits have been transferred to your account”), but no credits are actually added. During some “Meanwhile…” cutscenes at another station, the game loads you clipped inside that station afterward. I’ve been able to work around that by simply entering the station and leaving again, but it’s still a noticeable bug. The biggest issue I’ve encountered is in the Supernova campaign during the mission involving the black box and the prisms. After recovering the black box, the dialogue finishes, the screen flickers, and then the game gets stuck on a permanent black screen, preventing further progress.
Despite those problems, this is still an outstanding game and one of the finest space RPGs ever released on mobile. I just hope it receives an update to address these compatibility issues on modern iOS because it absolutely deserves to keep being enjoyed by new players.

Black Screen Bug
Love this game, have since 2011.
However don’t buy the dlc, they are also great but bugged. On certain missions the screen goes black and the game is hard locked where you can’t progress.

Best game I’ve ever played on iOS period and I’ve played it many times.
Pure nostalgia
I’m biased, as this game was my whole childhood. Still I love it, and its action is fun if a bit repetitive.
Valkyrie Campaign Bug Derailed Me
Game was fun and exciting, but then I got to the Valkyrie campaign. Due to an iOS bug, it wouldn’t pay me for any of my primary campaign missions, which totally derailed my excitement factor and made me stop playing. Bummer- very promising. If you have an iPhone or iPad, skip this one- other platforms good to go.

This is a fun and immersive little game, but it’s now 13 years old and no longer listed on the vendor’s website. With the active game-ending bugs, I wouldn’t invest much into it.

I don’t want an online game. This game rocks. Every time you play, it is different. Too bad the universe stopped expanding with new challenges. Locks up in the 3rd scenario after iOS updated a number of years ago. I have an ole IPhone 8 I keep on hand with an older iOS that’ll still play all the way through.

I love the game, but I keep missing the boxes for control as they are fixed too far in the corners. Add a way to change their location and will rate 5 stars.
