Fun game, not for strategy player

Was very fun to start. I play strategically and was let down that after saving for upgrades it becomes a craps shoot as to what you get because you can only select from a wide group and most of what you get ends up of zero benefit. You can build your fleet but then your limited to fleet stat size. Long story short it’s a great time consumer if you just want to play around, but if your a strategy player I would advise to keep looking.

Galaxy reaver

Great little game, unfortunately they have now put out a new version of this game called galaxy Reavers2,...and it’s entirely about the money period. Progress is very slow with or without money. What was extremely fun and challenging has now turned into something entirely different. Your voice will fall upon death ears and worse,......your money will simply disappear as will your time and energy. Don’t waste your time on something that started out extremely rare and as much fun as it was to play and talk about amongst ourselves has now fallen so far .

Great game just needs a few features

I love this game great little space fleet combat sim. I took off one star because you can’t transfer accounts between devices. I had to restart when I got my iPad. Also the first 5 levels you have to follow the pointer finger which I hate when games do that without an option to ignore or bypass it. Over all an awesome game.

Better than expected

I had minimal hope this app would be any good but it far exceeded my expectations! Nice graphics and combat is easy to start. I'll be looking forward to updates (with more story line?).
My only complaint is about the supply drops; where did they go? Is there a secret limit to the number one gets?
May I please have them back?

Into the stars!

This is a fun interactive galaxy adventure game. Got tons of fun ships to use and kind of has a Star Wars kinda feel, or Star Trek. One of the two, but it’s a cool game and you got to have it. I do notice one problem though. I’ve gotten some glitch where if I turn it spins all over the place and I can’t control my ships that well. Minor thing to fix but other than that it’s boat loads of fun and now back to the stars to continue my adventure!

Sound off

Just got around to trying this game, it’s pretty awesome! Only complaint is the sound controls, I like sound completely off some of the time while multitasking with videos playing on iPad using PiP, and while I am happy to be able to turn off game sound, it seems it doesn’t relinquish complete control as I have to turn the device sound up to hear video apps while the game is open, then when closing game sound is suddenly way too high for the playing video. So maybe there is some sort of dev control setting a lower sound percentage when game opens.

Needs online I wish devs would pick it back up

This game is great. My only complaint is the cap on the quality of ships you can have in one fleet at a time but other than that a lot of fun. I really wish an update would come to this game adding more ships and some kind of online play unfortunately looks like the creators of this game aren’t doing anymore updates.

Bigger fleets

Galaxy reapers is an awesome really fun game but I think there should be bigger flights maybe max up to like six ships allowing for bigger scale battlesMaybe some new ships and new weapons would be cool but mostly bigger fleet bigger fleet would be awesome so many more possibilities already pretty much only play this game but with bigger fleet I’ll be playing it all the time that would be awesome also I think the timer stupid like when you’re about to destroy an enemy ship and it’s like on 1% health the timer ends and you lose the battle like I think that’s stupid I hate that this game needs to be worked on

Fun game for a while

The game is really fun until you hit level 60. Then you’re severely outnumbered and out gunned.
General gripes:
The enemy can call in reinforcements. You can’t. You’re stuck with 4 ships per mission.
You’re 4 ship fleet is limited to certain ships and you cant go over that limit. Ex- You can’t have a fleet of 4 titans.
As you reach higher levels, your weapons don’t necessarily keep up with your level- I’m in the 60s now and my prizes and rewards are still more often than not green (lvl 2) or blue (lvl 3). Lvl 4 and 5 are more rare than they should be.
I understand in game purchases but if I’m going to buy them, I don’t want to waste real $ to buy “khorium” only to get useless lvl 2&3 rewards when spending “khorium”.
The developer is Chinese (from their website), but spend a little money and hire someone to spell/grammar check your interface.

The gameplay still has more potential, just need to tweak it a little.

Good stuff

Galaxy reaver is a great game it has many great features such as the great graphics, the good designs of the ships, that it also has a simple story line. The only thing that I don’t like very much is that, as of now, I am still waiting for the multi player part of the game to come out. I started about a year ago and it said that multiplayer was coming out soon but after about a year still nothing. Other than that it is a great game to play.

Broken cash grab

Only rated this higher than one star so it would be seen. Cool concept and graphics, unfortunately the devs are scumbags. Many parts are broken, such as the gift and supply features forcing players to pay real money in order to progress at a reasonable rate. If you do pay money be aware that if you ever lose your game data or switch devices you will lose all your purchases with no way to restore. In addition the email address they provide is run on a non existent server, so don’t bother trying to contact them. If anything it seems they have abandoned the game as they have been advertising a multiplayer function for well over a year. This could have been a great game but the devs clearly don’t care

Very frustrating.

Game has glitch. When trying to get the free Khorium or the gift, you get an error message saying “ in the ad loading. Please try again later” it’s hard to reap any benefit from that because it’s nearly constant. Makes it nearly impossible to get any resources from that option, making you having to pay REAL money for those resources. I understand you prefer the latter options but if you ARE going to offer the free option, then they should be accessible. Can this please be remedied or you will be in danger of doing what Star Trek fleet command did. Force people to pay large amounts to get anywhere in the game and make the in-game avenues for resource gathering absolutely not worth the effort forcing people into the other methods. That’s why that game is losing money. You don’t even see ads for the game anymore. You’re headed that way. Can this issue please be fixed please. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. It’s set up to empty your wallet. It “offers” free resources ( as pitifully small that it is ) then won’t let you have access to it so you frustratingly buy your resources. Classic bait and switch.

Reasonable, practical and fun.

I am just beginning the game- level 7 ships-and I keep waiting for that moment when I won’t be able to advance without putting down some money, but I haven’t gotten there yet. I can hear someone saying,”oh but you will, soon enough .” Maybe, but in the meantime, I must say that, so far, so good. There are generous rewards and upgrades and the things which do cost are reasonable. There are also many free practical rewards, and additionally, watching a few short advertisements-optional-are worth the time. Each new challenge seems fair, and if you are the dominating sort, you have immediate access to the most powerful ships and weapons—for a fair price.

Wow love it

Ok so I love it but a few ideas
1:can you make it multiplayer
2: if there is one last ship that is heavily damaged maybe you could give the player a choice to take it and fix it or to destroy it
3:can you add a lot more ships
4:maybe you could make the game where you can give your ships designs and upgrades
5:maybe you could add special ships like a transporter where you could call it in and it would give you supplies or a repair ship
6:So maybe you could add something where you can control individual ships or control whole fleets
7:last one. Maybe you could fight with people like an alliance or you could give people ships permanently or temporarily.

Good, but room for improvement.

It’s a good game, though later in the game I would have liked to see a bit more story, or maybe have different choices you can choose between as well (like which planet to go to) Late game is mostly grinding for those few weapons and ships you need. Overall, this is one of the best free ship games I know, considering the graphics are much better than some others, and it feels like you actually are watching a space battle unfold.

Fun RTS space combat game with minor flaws

Once you’re past the railroaded tutorial phase, it’s a pretty fun game. The combat feels challenging without overwhelming, at least in the lower levels I’ve played so far.

The in game currency seems restrictive but not a choke hold that prevents you from playing and winning. It feels nicely balanced where I’d you play a little here and there you can still play without paying too much. I don’t like the random loot box aspect of purchasing equipment, but you get enough equipment in story play that I think it’s acceptable.

But there’s a lot of minor issues. Things like text descriptions cut off, or weird grammar problems are all over the place. It feels like it is poorly translated. The funniest error is “pinch in to zoom in” and it functions in the opposite (and expected) manner where you pinch in to zoom OUT. The (zoom out) opposite advice is also backwards from the functionality. The only slightly frustrating issue is that you can’t zoom out enough to see a large part of the battle field in the prebattle setup, and what you can see is incredibly small and hard to manage for targeting.

One annoying thing is that you get “new supply” notifications. But at some point either you level past being able to collect those, or they changed the interface so you can’t see a button for it. Support links are also non-existent. Should probably drop to three starts for that

Spaceship wars

Developers; missiles should do more damages. They are limited in the number of times they can fire and can be intercepted. Even if they don’t miss, currently, the same level ballistics or lasers will do more damage than the missiles so their are no reasons to equip them. Since they are limited by ammo count, they should be worth it to equip and feared by opponents. Examples: if it can fire only once - increase damage 5x, it can fire 3-5 times - increase damage by 4x. Basically make rockets worth equipping. Same with tactical stuff.

Got Cheated

I really liked this game! Liked it so much that I have put money into it.
One day, when I opened the game, all my data was gone. Even my trophies were wiped clean.
I tried contacting the devs on their FB page, but no response.
It really is sad, but I had to delete the game. I'm not going to play a game that cheats you out of your money. Future or current players beware!

Simply Amazing

YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING. This is one of the best games in the store and its for good reason. Five stars for amazing content and gameplay. But this game really lacks in a few things.

1. Ships
There just isn't enough of them. I want to build a really good and unique fleet, but with such a limited amount of ships to choose from, it’s really hard. But the amount of weapons makes up for that so I’m not complaining. I just want more ships.

2. Diversity in missions
The missions just seem the same to me. I know they get increasingly difficult but it’s always just “destroy the fleet” or “protect this” and there just needs to be more.

Overall I love this game and I hope there are updates in the future because you guys really have a lot here. Thanks for making an amazing game.

Finished in an hour one star

This game has 16 missions. There’s 4 unknown missions on the last screen but no matter how many times or how well you win level 16, there isn’t any content past it. You can genuinely beat this entire game in a single hour free to play. I can’t even see the point in the paid options given there’s nothing that can even beat the ships GIVEN to you let alone the ships you BUY?
Add more missions and I’ll pay money. This game has satisfied me in so many ways I’ve never imagined but the serious lack in content makes it practically worthless.
When submitting this one star review I had to set it to 4-5 in order to have a valid “nickname”
