Great game

Awesome campaign.

A remarkably good version of this fun game!

Awesome!!

Great adaption, super fun!!

Důstojné zpracování stolní verze a

Miluji hry Vládi Chvátila a mám jich hodně a tato verze je hratelná i pro mé osmileté děti, navíc má bezvadnou kampaň pro jednoho hráče a jde sdílet v rodinném sdílení ... co dodat . No nekup to za ty prachy!

Not playable in landscape on iPad Pro

Please add orientation support so I can play. Seems a nice game otherwise, but I cannot play in this orientation. Thank you.

No turn-based option

The developers did almost everything right here. The game plays smoothly. The words are large, and easy to read. The sound effects are good. I could go on and on. So why only two stars from me?

There is no turn-based option in the Campaign game or in the Alien Technologies game. You are forced to play real-time games, at least at the start. I hate that. I’m not a teenager any more. I don’t have the reflexes that I used to have. I need time to think. I paid for this game, but I am denied time to think.

There is no good reason for that. So I am shut out of those games. That’s just wrong.

On edit: I’ve played many more games of Galaxy Trucker. The Custom Game with the Alien Technology expansion is magnificent. You are presented with all sorts of starting options to pick from. There is no better word to describe that. It is magnificent.

But unfortunately I must still rate this game two stars overall. As I mentioned previously, for no good reason I'm being forced to play real-time in the Campaign game and in the Alien Technologies game. Fix this flaw, and Galaxy Trucker is a true five-star gem.

Polished campaign

This is a smooth implementation of a great board game, with a single player campaign that they clearly put a lot of work into!

So good.

Just as fun as the board game, and the campaign is nice edition.

Asynchronous play

My friends and I are always looking for good asynchronous games. With one in Canada and the others in UK but with varying life patterns it is the only way we can make game play work. Galaxy Trucker is one of those games. There are minor gripes about having to wait for players to make little choices, but that’s asynchronous. E.g. When waiting for other players to pick which planet, if any, they will explore, the other players could rank the planets they want to explore. And after the first decision is made it can cascade and the player online immediately get to their next decision.

All in all, GT is a great, fun game. Not gonna stop playing any time soon.

Très bien mais…

Le jeu plante systématiquement quand on ajoute un joueur humain dans la partie tour par tour.

Love the game but can’t play local multiplayer

The app crashes whenever trying to use local multiplayer (pass & play) on an iPad. Soon as you add a second player’s name and hit accept the game crashes

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for info. We are aware of this issue, we will try to fix it.

Muy divertido

Un juego muy entretenido y con una campaña muy divertida

Good game, it but needs more options

There needs to be more player options. It would be nice to pick the game length. And it would be nice to pick which components and which Adventure Cards to use. For example, I like the Armor piece and I like the Billiards card. I don’t like Epidemics. And I HATE Sabotage. With one bad Sabotage roll, you can lose the entire game. That’s just silly.

Please, developers. Take a look at the Monopoly game app. There are so many options available! We paid for this game. Give us a more freedom.

Very good game!

Bought the game on the back of having played the board game at work one lunch time. Plays well, and the graphics are cool.

One downer is that there’s not enough screen space to place your revealed (and discarded) cards. This makes the whole thing cluttered -though this adds extra tension when scrambling to find that one piece and time is ticking!

Overall a good game, well worth the asking price.

BTW ~ works fine on iPad 9th gen.

Great app for Price

Well contained. Good adaptation. Campaign mode keeps interest.
Need to design other campaigns!

Played the board game….

and love it. Now the app was a no brainer. It’s so good. Playing GT solo is almost as good as playing with friends at the board. And if you haven’t played the board game the app will make you want to get it.

Fantastic port of a fantastic game

I didn't expect the devs could do justice to this great board game. The real-time ship building would seem particularly challenging, especially on the small screen real estate of an iPad. It's stunningly good, as is every other aspect of the game. And it goes above and beyond the board game by adding in single-player play, an awesome campaign mode, and juicy achievements.
