Completely paywalled
I was able to use the map for about 10 seconds and was asked for a review, which upon leaving a review it immediately gave me an unclosable subscription screen. You literally can't use the app without paying $40. If I knew it was that expensive, I wouldn't have downloaded it.
Misleading Greedy Developers
Most of the Ads you’ll see for this are of the Minecraft map, but those are all locked behind a $40 paywall just to even access all the maps the only one you could theoretically use without paying is GTA:SA map. Ontop of this it doesn’t provide traffic alerts or alternate routes. Great idea, absolutely lazy and greedy execution.

Not that great
Its great looks wise, but it doesn’t give traffic or hazards or faster routes, it doesn’t actively follow the car cursor, so you always have to scroll after it making it inconvenient, and its not clear when it comes to area names and street names as well as angles for following the navigation. Overpriced for what it is but I guess its kind of cool. Also there are only like 4-5 maps to choose from so its not that great.

Should be a free trial
First off only showing subscriptions before the lifetime is a level of greed I didn’t even think was possible. Second off I don’t even know how good the app is cause there’s no free trial or anything soooo… I would’ve payed the $30 if I knew it was worth it, but I don’t. There should be like a three day free trial or something.

Not free whatsoever, don’t bother
App immediately paywalls you once you download it, requires either $50 lifetime or $15 a month. There’s not even a free trial or anything, so you have no idea how good or bad it is before dropping $50 (it’s just a gimmick, don’t bother).

Was purchased in app on accident, as for refund and was declined. But honestly now that I have full version it’s not that great could be a fraction of the cost and still be not worth it…

Every map is behind a £7 per week pay wall or £35 a year pay wall

Misleading Variety
Paid $40 to “access all the maps” there’s only 5 maps showing up? And not for any games that I selected like Elden Ring. Disappointed.

Every app is the same nowadays, always requires a subscription. This app gets a 1 star for that and it can join the huge and ever growing group of useless apps

Cannot even use app without paying a subscription or lifetime purchase. If it was a reasonable price for lifetime purchase like $10 or less I’d consider, but for an app that you can’t even use for free with limited features, not worth risking paying even the smallest subscription option to possibly not like it.

Insanely overpriced
Downloaded it cause it looks super cool, learned it’s $15 to use it in carplay, immediately deleted it. Probably woulda coughed up 3 or 4 bucks but $15 a month is highway robbery. Don’t get baited like I did.

don’t listen to the 5 star reviews. you can’t do pretty much anything without paying 50 dollars and even then the maps are gimmicky and useless
Good idea, but the pricing model is not consumer-friendly.
The concept is clever and the gaming-inspired maps are a fun use of nostalgia, but the price makes the app impossible for me to recommend.
The paywall shown asks for £34.99 per year or £12.99 per month to unlock the full experience. The monthly option works out at £155.88 per year, which is especially difficult to justify when Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze already provide established navigation services without charging users a recurring subscription.
I do not agree with the argument that development and running costs should automatically be passed on to the consumer through an expensive subscription. Those costs are part of operating a business, and it is still the developer’s responsibility to offer enough value for the price being charged. Here, the main selling point appears to be the gaming-style presentation rather than a navigation service that meaningfully replaces the free alternatives.
The app is clearly designed around people’s love of gaming, exploration and nostalgia, but the monetisation feels too dependent on that enthusiasm. A sensible one-off payment, a meaningful free version or a much lower price would be far more reasonable.
There is a genuinely good idea here, but the recurring cost outweighs the practical value. That is why, in its current form, I can only give it one star.
