Pretty Good!

This is A very Good Thing To Use For Adventures And such!

Great app, deserves 5 stars, but needs some updates.

Only issue is it needs some recent updates, specifically for ease of use. The biggest and most simple update that would be the biggest help is not needing to click the okay button button to save each page before you go back. (Right button instead of the back button.) Maybe for android users having to save each page before you navigate away, but Apple has really streamlined this to save automatically. The second one would be to streamline the comdendium use. It’s a very clunky feel to it where each item needs to be selected, the number scrolled to, and repeat two dozen times to add a new item/monster. Also some items don’t display correctly with alternate screen orientation. (You’re required to scroll off the screen to be able to edit the items above, which doesn’t adjust to be on screen.)

Great!

This is great! The only reason it doesn’t have 5 stars, is the lack of a export function.

Good app, needs work

The app works really well, but it looks really boring and needs an auto save feature.

Wonderful app! But you will need to work at it

This app has all the tools you need to load your campaign to a digital platform. I hope that paizo works with them to allow a more monsters that aren’t apart of the SRD because you will have to input each monster yourself

Useful, thorough

This app has all the pathfinder npcs and creatures and gives you the ability to alter them with your own home brew specs and save em. I love it. The only thing it doesn’t do is adjust a creature’s overall modifiers when you increase their stats. So look out for that. Enjoy dungeon masters. This is a goodie

Pretty good app

App layout isn’t quite as intuitive and it is missing a few spells, classes, ancestries, etc. it would help to be able to create my own characters for campaigns.

Great app but always room to improve

Ok so of all the apps out there for game mastering, this is one of my all time favorites. Pay a small fee one time and everything is open to you. My biggest gripe with this app actually takes into account other tools/sites that serve similar purposes.

The creators of the app 100% need to partner themselves with the hosts of aonprd. The sheer amount of accurate info that aonprd has coupled with the usefulness and versatility of this app would be absolutely amazing. Seeing as to how aonprd would rather focus on optimizing their website, the app author for PF GM would have to put forth the effort here.

Other than this, the app has some grammar/text errors that have existed forever (alignments display incorrectly for example). It’s a small thing to fix but small things add up and this app does have a handful of them. The bestiary entires are also incomplete in some cases. Not a problem for someone with access to internet 24/7 (most people) but for us peasants with crap internet or low data, it kind of hurts the app.

Keep up the great work.

Great App

I love this app. A lot of other apps for maps and things I get into and fall out of and then remember them again and remember things I don't like. I find myself coming to this all for every single game. The do need to work on some kinks... like I always write all my notes in other programs now because if you hit back instead of the checkmark it just deletes everything you entered. And sometime the check window pops up off screen where you can't use it. But there are ways around it. All in all the app really great!

(Now stop asking me to write a review and let me use it uninterrupted. 🤣)

Great app, some bugs

Over all, it’s very useful. I have discovered to my dismay that when I create a new monster from within encounter setup and save it to the compendium it disappears after awhile. My current workaround is to not delete any encounter where I’ve made something new, so I can just copy it back in. There’s no easy way to do that for PC’s though. If you have an NPC that’s become a PC either use it from the NPC list, or create a new PC by hand (as far as I can work out anyway).

It would be nice if there was an easier way to copy/move PC’s between campaigns and in/out of the NPC list.

Still, the built in rolls are really, really nice, it’s pretty easy to keep all your campaign notes, encounters, and treasure together (but if you add multiple money pouches of the same type, be warned they share a value, and if you delete one, both go).

Ultimately I end up going back and forth between this and RPG Scribe (which I use for character building, spell tracking, and individual loot/equipment). It would be amazing if there was an easy way to just import characters from there to here. The two apps together cover almost all the bases, and I haven’t found anything that does what I want better, so I’d recommend it. It’s even great for non-Gm players who want to test run character concepts through combat.

Good but needs updating.

is a good app that needs a little bit of an update, some issues are HP don’t go below 0, which means as soon as a monster dies I have to write down their current HP and it does not always save your monster entries in the compendium.

Need Help

So I was in love with this app for the first hour, building a ton of stuff for a campaign I’m running, and I was trying out the initiative/health tracking feature. Well, I exited out of the feature to try and add more creatures (I bought the premium version), and now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the combat started again. The app has no tutorials on use, the help page was ironically no help at all, and I just can’t seem to get back to the function where I can roll initiative, it is perpetually stuck on the “setup combatants” part of the encounter, and it doesn’t give me the option to roll or set initiative. I want to love this app so much, but I have tried everything to figure out what I’m missing, I’ve even reinstalled the app to get it. Please help, cause otherwise I just wasted $3 and have no more need for the app.
Update: I have fingered out what happened. It never occurred to me to just click on the picture of the campaign to enter it, and I apparently did it by accident the first time. A fantastic app now that I know what to do, the only thing it could use is even just a minor tutorial.

My preferred GMing app

The creators of this app did an excellent job. I use it to easily run several homebrew campaigns concurrently. It has trivialized tracking large combats and keeps my sessions flowing smoothly and efficiently.

The UI looks great and I’ve yet to run into any significant bugs.

Needs an update

Great app for planning a campaign, adventure, or encounter. The encounter mechanic is great for keeping track of initiative, damage, etc. My only real complaint, and it is a big one, is the inability to import characters or NPCs from Fight Club 3.5. Would make specific encounter setup and editing much easier. The ability to incorporate optional rules from the expanded books would also be useful. Would still be a great value at $10 to $15.

Premium with ads?

The program is great and very useful. However i bought premium and even though it says premium removes ads i still have ads. They dont have email to contact them and i am not sure what to do...

Great for Organizing Sessions

Creating a session is easy and at your fingertips, but it lacks in adding buffs and debuffs, they have the options but it doesnt effect the stats

Invaluable tool, hoping for an update

These Apps are invaluable tools. If you're not a big porn and prayer planner and what to be able to not down ideas anywhere these are the best.

I'm just hoping it gets a compendium update or a separate version for 2e.

Love this app

This app does everything I need to build an adventure for my campaigns.

I love this app.

I love this app as a DM. I use it all the time. It works really well for me because I often create my own creatures and this app allows for that.

I recently switched to Starfinder and wish there was a Starfinder equivalent! I hope you guys are working on it 😉

Good, but could be better.

Lovely tool. Could use some UI changes, but it's not bad at all.

My biggest complaint is the lack of NPCs to use. The app only comes with a beastiary.

I would also love the option to add personal details for NPCs. Appearances, personality, history, mannerisms, etc.
