Creative, but AI cheats!

The other game this developer has was so good, I decided to try this one. I LOVE how it’s both simple and complex, calming yet frustrating lol! However…

I won’t sugarcoat this - the AI cheats like crazy! I know, he claims “What’s in it for me to have a cheating AI??” Good question! WHY did you do it??!!
Regardless of strategy, the AI miraculously predicts my moves every time! Every. Single. Time! I love the concept, but unless the dev allows for more even gameplay that doesn’t ALWAYS favor the AI, I may have to delete this game. It’s too bad… could’ve been really fun! 🥺😢

Very fun and challenging!

It takes some time and a lot of losses to get the hang of it but it’s so refreshing to have a game that’s actually challenging. May not be for everyone but definitely doesn’t deserve the one star reviews.

Cheats

This is Thorsten Gimmler’s “No Thanks”, but without the chips and for only 2 players.

If you play “For Real”, the AI just knows what’s in your hand and outplays you accordingly. Also, the game won’t let you abandon when you know you’ve lost.

Frustrating instead of fun.

It’s okay and hard but fun

It seems like that the rules don’t always do what it’s supposed to do but I like it and it’s fun but I really don’t like that the cards don’t always move according to the rules but it might be a bug or some i don’t know but the games fun that’s all that matters

Needs more difficulty levels

Like other have stated, it seems it’s highly favored towards the AI. This should be a current hard setting, as there should be other medium/easy settings for younger players. I enjoyed the game but after losing by so much each time, and the couple times I’ve won it was only by 1-2 points while losing is always by tens of points. Also, a resetting of points would be great. I’m currently at 100 points to over 300 points. I know for sure I’ll never win enough to recoup the points enough to win overall. So for now, until an update, I don’t think I’ll play too much. Here I sit ego bruised to a very well made concept, however an abusing AI I just cannot forgive. Kudos to you Dev.

Fantastic

This game took a minute to understand but after a couple of games and the rules it was easily a quick favorite. Simple yet requires some strategy. Edit. So I wrote that review too early. After playing for a few days it’s obvious the game favors the AI opponent. You can try multiple strategies but the favor is always leaning to the AI. It would be a great game if the game was more evened out. Great concept.

Really dumb game.

Old and boring in about 20 minutes.

Waste of a download

This is a true piece of garbage game. Absolute garbage. The music is awful. The graphics are bad. The AI cheats. Don’t even try it.

Great pick up and play game

This is a great game by the Lucky Pirate developer, once you grasp the rules it can be fairly intense. The AI is challenging but in. good way that doesn’t let you be too causal about your choices.
My only request would be to have this in portrait orientation for one-tap gameplay. Would be great if that is possible!

Good stuff

Wish I could turn off the background spiders though, they're a bit annoying

Excellent game

I love the developer’s other game (Lucky Pirate) so much that I got this new card game too. It’s excellent!

Although there are other similar card games, this one is by far the most sophisticated in design and enjoyable to play. Everything is as smooth as can be. And this is the perfect kind of game to play when you only have a few minutes, because each game is fast. You want to keep trying one more time.

I appreciate no ads or IAP or tracking. This developer does that right. I’d happily pay to tip the developer, but I appreciate that they’ve made it accessible.

My only request: Could you maybe allow for portrait mode? I usually avoid landscape games, but I like this one enough to keep it. But I’d play more if it had a portrait option because that’s way easier to hold, especially on transit or for those of us with mobility issues. Still, it’s fine as is too.

We need more good developers like this. Thank you so much for making games right! I highly recommend this one.
