Disgusting game that condones bullying
To preface: I have been playing this game for YEARS and have spent so much money on it. I get bullied on my server for absolutely no reason and no one from this game cares or will do anything at all. they care about is if someone makes them money right? Disgusting. I got kicked out from coalitions because about SEVEN people decided to gang up on me. I asked to move servers. Nothing. I filed reports. Nothing. This is unacceptable. Next time this stupid game wants people to stick around they should make sure the customer service and development team aren’t completely incompetent. Absolutely disgusting game will never play again.

I’ve been on this game forever and I always just played and not interacted with other players and now I see why. This is an insane group of bored people. Some have like 12 profiles they run in one union! They will be one person acting like different people like gaming catfish. And they get verrryyyy intense over those badges.

Worst customer service and loyalty representative experience!
I am beyond disappointed with how the Game of Sultans support team handles serious players safety issues. I have been subjected to constant bullying, harassment, and dehumanization. Other players have gone as far as to insult and slander me with derogatory comments that no one should have to endure.
Despite providing the ‘Loyalty Team’ with clear screenshots evidence of these vile attacks, their only response was to tell me to ‘just block them’ They claimed the offenders did nothing wrong, essentially giving a pass to toxic behavior that ruins the game for everyone else.
It is disheartening to see a game I’ve invested time into allow such a hostile environment to thrive. If you value your mental well-being and expect developers to actually uphold their own community standards, stay away. The lack of accountability from the staff is just as bad as the harassment itself.

Waste of time
Deleted my game data for no reason what so ever…put hours into this game. Cannot get it back

I’ve been a player for years spending so hundreds of dollars in this game before taking a break. I don’t know how but customer support even on non transaction concerns has deteriorated. For the amount of money some people have been spending on this game, they sure do trash in fixing their own bugs
Pay to win
If you’re on a budget, this game is not right for you. It’s strictly pay to win. Also, my server has been dead since the pandemic, and since we can’t take our progress to other servers, we are stuck.

I’ve grown my little empire for +5yrs, made several accounts, hit 1 vip8, 1 vip7,5, 1 vip6, 2 vip5, 1 vip4, 3 VIP 3, 4 VIP2, 3 VIP 1 (so Xiamen made a lot of cash out of me) and though I wasn’t top player I was above average and proud of my small achievements. GoS is addictive once you get past the initial slow growth; the stronger you get the more you grow. But I got to a point when only the presence of a very few good friends and sheer stubbornness keep me going, all because of some key points that could be easily improved and benefit everyone greatly, that the devs are well aware of but persist in ignoring, mainly.. 1) only big spenders and/or cheat users reach the top ranks, and it’s always the same ones & hangers-on who win. There should be 2 gaming options: P2w based + free-play based; it’s fairer for players who can’t match those with unfair advantages, so all can access valuable, very scarce top resources; 2) GoS relies heavily on its social web connecting players which has its fair share of idiots, bullies, pushy lonely hearts, predators and smart-arses. Any apparent clampdown on disrespect and cheating is no more than lip service to their watchdog and they keep ignoring most of the customers’ complaints and real losses that could be easily fixed. I was taught that an ugly action outweighs a bad word; however, it’s the other way around on GoS: you can hit and destroy people’s efforts, interfere with their progress and abuse them to the point of despair, and you get away untouched; but the victim speaks a word in anger (as anyone would, after much abuse) and they’re the one who’s sanctioned. It loses GoS countless valuable customers and it’s clear that they don’t care. GoS is clearly the most toxic game I’ve ever played ..3) Arena: the main reason most people leave: limit the number of times a player can be challenged during this event. Or give them the option to revenge each challenge they suffered, one by one if they wish, instead of only being able to revenge once even if they were hit 50x before responding; same for Consort learning: Limit the number of times a player can kick out a specific player’s consort; introduce a protective badge for single academy guests/visitors.. 4) Too many special effects cause the game to lag, freeze and crash often, specially if your device is old or less fancy. Tweak all this, you’ll have a cleaner game. 5) a sterner approach to players who cheat, (diamonds/resources cheats, bots, clickers etc). They’re unfair advantages but they’re still going. Like when we complained about bots, what was your solution? Sell your own bot! 🤦♀️ a bot is a bot. Identify, disable, block the source. 6) stop opening so many servers. Fed up of seeing good customers finding themselves alone on dying servers. Or give each player the chance to move to another server of their own choice. ..Other than that, brownie points for your constant tweaks, bug improvements etc.

New servers: whole new layout, Hippolyta for 0.99 cents, daily rewards include vizier Ismail and concubine Yara but old servers get none of this!?
MAKE IT MAKE SENSE PLEASE!, all the ideas we have pitched in during the years you give it to the new servers but neglect the old servers, how is that fair?
Only reason i dont quit is because i have spent more than $800 through the years i have been playing.

Burglars
I play the game for almost 10 years. Recently they started to cheat and still the most crucial- diamonds, meaning money. They do it hidden my in a very mean way. And later respond that - a player himself did this action. How comfortable. Not recommended if you don't want to be cheated.
Fun game but..
The game is really fun I enjoy it but I just wish they could add some things I’m not to far into the game I played it a while ago and I’m just now picking it up again and some things had obviously changed but I just wish the game had more of a story line like in the beginning it has a story but I wish it kept on going with that, like it makes the game more interesting to me. I also wish you be able to interact with your kids more instead of just developing them and getting them married also with the companions I wish you can do other things and have a storyline with them have some drama y’know like for example more you interact with one companion the others gets jealous like that would be so tea!! It’d be more fun please add something’s where you can interact with people and have an actual dialogue that changes and you can pick your dialogue choices but overall it’s a fun game that I enjoy! ALSO PLEASE THERE IS NO DIVERSITY with choosing your character please add some people with color! Some dark skinned people why am I white as snow?? Please fix that!! Like please a darkskin character with curly hair or something!!

They allow SLAVES?
Part of the “play” is to give away slaves to companions. It’s encouraging human trafficking for one. The other is they allow too much. Several skeevy players like Korgan who groom children that are under 18. They do it in public chat and make them uncomfortable. If you don’t allow it they can cut you from playing further in coalitions etc.
Why is grooming of a minor or slave play allowed in ANY game. This is wrong and until they remove players that make minors uncomfortable the game needs to be go. Slave trade is NOT ok and neither is GROOMING. It needs to be a safe place. Where they can play and be comfortable without worry of a groomer cutting them from advancing. If you block or deny the groomer they get butt hurt and stop you from advancing. THE GAME KNOWS AND DOES NOTHING.

Money grab
It’s just money grab. You couldn’t advance quickly, especially with new events that they come up with, unless you pay. There’s no cohesion on the plot. First, they added pets to the game. That’s logical… sultans have pets. Then, they added these spirit creatures that are like pets but not really… developers don’t pay much attention to the pets now that if you spent money upgrading them, you just wasted the upgrades because they want you to spend money on spirits. Events are centered mostly on spirits, not with pets

I started playing this game when I started college when it was an ad on tumblr, and made friends with the other players on a discord dedicated to the game. I don’t remember my first play through but I decided to play it again along with those friends, I love that there’s a story aspect in the form of a visual novel, but my only request as of right now, is to be able to replay the campaign as much as I’d like, so I can have fanfic/fanart ideas and concepts. From a returning fan of the game, rosesonfire or aka Neal Franks. Love you guys, and you guys are doing great.
