Very playable

The game is one of the best I’ve played up to a point. Once you get to about level 60 it is extremely difficult and time-consuming to advance. It becomes boring and there’s nothing more to it than fighting a few battles and powering up one of your heroes. Also, it’s very tough to take advantage of any region except for the North. You get great bonuses by having several members of a specific house or region, but creating a party of mostly Targaryens or Baratheons for example is nearly impossible without spending money on micro transactions. Lots of fun for about a month, but a tedious bore from there.

Great game however

This is an amazing game and I like the challenge of grinding to make actual progress however I wish there were more characters, arya, the hound, Brianne of Tarth, the mountain, Brann, grey worm , little finger, tirion, Stannis. There are so many characters and more y’all could add, overall though great game just add more characters 👍🏻👍🏻

New Update is Everything I Wanted

The game has definitely reinvented itself and became exactly what I wanted with the new update. I love it and hope the continued support brings new characters and features so this amazing game. Can’t wait to see what the future brings!

Looking forward to the update

I loved the game when I first started playing. For a while it seemed like the developers abandoned it. However, they just posted that a huge new update is coming this year with a lot of new changes that I think will revamp the whole game. I am really excited to see what is to come. Until then…I am still a faithful player. Wish they also update at least one of their social media platforms regularly so we know what is to come each week or at least each month as well.

Fun game, losing steam

Game is very fun to play at first — good strategy, not hack and slash, hard but achievable with patience, and doesn’t require in app purchases to be fun. But they have focused on improving the graphics rather than the play, so it gets very repetitive after a while — story isn’t even finished, multiple versions of the same characters, very little creativity, and so particularly once you level up there’s nothing interesting to do. Game play has few glitches and works well on a phone or tablet, but developers seem to have quit trying to add new features.

Excellent

Lots of characters both familiar and unfamiliar each with different skills and abilities. Offers both individual play and multiplayer competition. I’ve been playing for over a year and still love it. Highly recommend.

Needs updating

On the last day of the “season” with Hero Arena, I’m unable to play once there are less than 4 hours on the countdown. There’s also an issue with the sparring ground, where it won’t let you collect the reward at the end of each “season” because it is saying you didn’t participate. When reading the information on sparring ground, it says in order to participate you have to play at least one level. I play at least one level of sparring ground every day in order to collect my daily rewards. With that being said, it’s been months since you’ve been made aware of these issues, but I’m yet to see them fixed.

Hearing while talking

Would be nice if while watching cut scenes when they’re talking, we would be able to hear what it is they’re saying. There are going to be some people who play this game that are hearing impaired or having issues at the time with their hearing whether it’s because they’re sick or something. Other than that I love this game!!!!!

Beware the paywall!

You go sailing along in the beginning getting all the goodies and little by little you sssslllloooowwwwwwwwwww wayyyyyyy doooooooooooowwwwwwwnnnnnn. I like this game as a distraction to my otherwise busy day, but I’m not going to spend real money in a pretend world: $50 for a bunch of PRETEND CRAP!!! With gas prices through the roof only kids using their parents’ discretionary funds will level up. So just expect that if you want to succeed at this game you WILL spend your own money to do so. Full stop. Other than that, it’s pretty cool.🤷🏻‍♀️

Very enjoyable game

I’ve been playing this game since the day it released and the developers have done a wonderful job of coming up with new units, scenarios, and gameplay modes.

The only one minor complaint I have is I would love to see more variety in the available heroes rather than three versions of Jon Snow or Jamie Lannister. It’d be nice to see some ancillary characters from the books and show like Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, the Hound, Sir Duncan the Tall, etc. But still a great game.

Great start!

Only being out for a short bit of time. They have added a whole bunch of hero’s support units and content overall it shows they actually want to keep the game going. I wish they would add some other hero’s like Robb Stark instead of duplicates. However, I’m excited to see where they take the game!

The game isn’t as good as you think

The game became slow with boring game content that requires to much of your time. But the worst part that bugged me from the start is that you can’t work towards unlock barrack characters you don’t have. You can only get them by drawing cards. Well I started playing about a month after it came out and retired last week and was still missing one character. It’s the biggest flaw in the game and don’t ever retire and on them because you lose them and never know when you’ll get them back. Thankfully I never retired any of mine, that was and is the stupidest option in a game I’ve ever seen. You need well over 2hrs a day to do a lot of repetitive crap. They are alway releasing new characters but extremely slow with game content. It also became harder and harder to build the few characters that were worth the resources which further slowed things down and added to the growing boredom. I’ve waited a few days before writing this so I could compose a solid review and I don’t miss the game one bit. The developers are not the best. Enjoy the game if you’re new but just know it wont last so don’t waste any money, it’s not needed

Fun but not fun

The game is fun, you can clear your dailies fairly quick. I love the GOT series and turn based strategy games, so this game really hit the spot. The loss of two stars is from the progression system and the exceedingly over priced store. If you start out leveling a few characters but somehow random the star upgrade to gold or ++ in another it will take weeks of grinding the materials to upgrade the new characters even into low levels. If I was end game, great, but I’m no where close to that stage. Novice badges should NOT be this rare or the upgrades should be less for novice because they’re all for the lower level characters. The store is so overprice it’s insane and I almost deleted the game today just looking at the prices. If I leave this game, it’s because of the high market prices... The subscription is seriously $5 a week!! It’s 2x-4x more than it should be and you barely get anything for it.

???????

Game is garbage it has been 5 months and all the same bugs and issues are still here. They have greatly improved the micro transaction parts of the game because that’s what’s important right!? They devs have no plans to fix this game and how do I know because it’s been 5 months and they haven’t fixed anything.
I started playing this game the day it came out and really wanted to Like it. I think it would of been better being just a basic idle rpg. I don’t think the devs working on this are very talented and this rpg is to much for them. It’s to complicated lol. But anyways I wouldn’t bother.

Best new game I've seen in a while!

I came across this game a few days after it released. I've enjoyed it fully from the very beginning! They continue to add new features like battalions, and the legendary challenges are switched up often. I also like that the legendary challenges give you new heroes for free.

I've seen other people complain about having to spend money, but I haven't spent a dollar and haven't had any issues. You just have to be willing to grind a little harder in the game, and you can get everything you need free.

Glitchy boss event, downtime riddled

The game has a lot of problems lately. For weeks people have complained about the boss event, which ends prematurely for too many of us, even when we don’t have other people in our groups.

Players can cancel out of groups if they see more players appear, hurting the chance of high score for those who stay in the group, while allowing the leaving player to re-start and repeat the process.

Many modes allow you to restart and play over, including arena, and boss attack, which makes the modes silly. In sum, these features diminish the game to a mere farming tamagochi app.

By about level 40, the soft pay wall gets more apparent, as leveling characters takes longer and longer, and the gratification of promotion and acquisition becomes rare.

Even then, when you pay, problems will persist, like downtime, or game crashing (when you leave ranging and go back to ranging). The devs don’t compensate much for downtime, so keep it in mind before you pay real money.

1st day, fun but NO ladies

3rd r3view: may 15 20 we finally get to win a red head girl as 3rd female in game but still Can’t get the females, it’s 97% male characters & 3% female tease with (0) Zero chances of getting any female characters unless we pay.! We can’t get the blonde with the dragon unless we pay for it ? 2nd review: yup it’s actually 100% male characters & zero chance of getting the only 2 girls they have, a blonde or brunette, which we Have to buy. We can only purchase the female characters so We’ll Stop playing for a month to see if it changes & I’ll play iron throne instead. We got a free dragon, female characters right away plus second characters in 2 seconds. Thanks for making my choice.*

Please respond I need to know!

Love the game a lot! Really enjoy it a lot! Just wondering if you are gonna bring in a lot of knew heroes. I would recommend my favorite character in the Game of Thrones show Theon. Would love to see some of those characters in the game would make it 10x better!

Play with multiple heroes?

Hello,
So overall I enjoy this game, especially since I was able to get my fav character pretty much immediately. I like the gameplay because it reminds me of the Fire Emblem games. I understand why only certain characters are playable in the story as it is supposed to be a prequel I think but I don’t understand why only one hero is allowed to be used. My idea of a dream team is several characters I like, not one character I like and 3 randos, ya know? Anyway, all I am saying is maybe there could be a new feature in a later update that allows multiple heroes to be used in one match. That is all and thank you.

Needs a Multi Hero Game Mode

Really enjoying this game so far, the gameplay itself is fun and I love that new hero characters such as king in the north Jon Snow and dragonstone Daenerys can be acquired and upgraded through challenges instead of being locked behind a pay wall like in similar games. I agree with other reviews that I’ve seen about some materials like novice insignias being hard to find but it hasn’t been a huge issue for me.

The only thing the game is missing that I would love to see added would be a mode where you can use multiple heroes at once, a huge part of what interested me about this game was assembling a team of my favorite game of thrones characters and battling with them so it’s a bummer when I have to leave favorites like Jon snow on the sideline while I use a random archer from the riverlands
