We needed this app!
Thanks
Great app
Thanks for doing this.
Nice sound, easy to use
Sounds nice, good layout, easy to use and unlike other gamelan apps has output function for saving and exporting
New version completely messed the interface on iPhone 8plus
I love this app, but the last update completely messed with layout of the app rendering it unusable to me. The keyboard no longer displays all the note, the highlighted notes don’t line up with the proper gender notes underneath...
Response from developer
@Pierrepblais, saw your comment just now, could it be that you have set your device to scale the non plus resolution up? Unfortunately I can‘t test this in the emulator and haven’t a plus device at hand. I‘ll try to get one for debugging... Best Otmar Just got hands on a 8 plus - indeed it is calling the wrong UI file. The emulator behaves different than the device, not providing the correct scale factor. Meanwhile to get it usable, toggle keys --> "hide instrument photo" on. Then you just have graphical representations of the keys. I'll upload a new version as soon as possible. Update: New version is up, this issue should be ironed out now - happy gending!
Very Interesting And Great Sounds.
I know absolutely nothing on the origin of this instrument, though, the sound of it does seem somewhat familiar to me. And after using the demo version (which thanks for offering that, very smart choice), I was excited to purchase the full version.
I like the app so far because it gives you a really unique, uncommon sound to play with, works with Audiobus, which is really paramount for anything I decide to purchase music-wise and it has a very nice looking user interface I thought.
I should say, though, that I don't fully understand or grasp how everything works and how to fully utilize everything in this application. I think I will have to do some research to fully comprehend how to get complete use of the app. But, really I'm just excited to record these beautiful sounds through Audiobus and then apply filters to them in other apps like TwistedWave.
So, in conclusion, I think that if you are on the fence about making this purchase or are unsure about the app overall. Just do what I did and download the free demo version. I do now think the four bucks is a fair price and I'm glad that I checked this app out and glad I have something new to fool around in. Thanks again for that demo version of the app, I really think developers hurt their sales when they don't offer trial or demo versions of something they are selling.
