About

Gamepad is a focused controller testing and diagnostics utility for iPhone and iPad. Connect a compatible Bluetooth, wired, or MFi controller recognized by iOS or iPadOS to inspect its input in real time and quickly diagnose buttons, sticks, triggers, and supported extended capabilities. Key Features • Controller Visualization See buttons, the directional pad, analog sticks, and triggers respond in real time. Both portrait and landscape layouts are supported, including basic controllers without analog sticks. • Complete Controller Test Inspect stick trails, directional input, trigger pressure, button states, and controller capabilities in one place. • Button Test Record button, direction, and axis input as it happens to verify every action. • Stick Polling Rate Analyze stick input events, including average rate, event intervals, stability, and unusual samples. • Haptic Feedback Try multiple vibration patterns and select a supported controller motor or the device haptics as the output. • Audio Haptics Generate haptic feedback from a local audio file. Drag the waveform to choose a starting point, adjust intensity, and apply different levels of vocal filtering. • Motion Sensors View live gyroscope and accelerometer data from a compatible controller or the current device. • Extended Controller Capabilities Test touchpad input, adaptive triggers, motion sensors, and advanced haptics when the connected hardware supports them. Compatibility Available features depend on the controller model, connection method, Apple device, and capabilities exposed by the operating system. Some basic controllers do not include analog sticks, haptics, or motion sensors, and some iPad models do not provide device haptics. The app keeps the relevant layout visible and disables unsupported actions when appropriate. Privacy Controller tests and audio analysis are performed locally on the device. No account is required, and selected audio or controller input is not uploaded to a server.
