About
Ten original pocket LCD games in one app, made for folding. Games and Fold turns your iPhone into an electronic game from the golden age of LCD handhelds: a metal faceplate, chunky keys that click, a screen of ghosted segments that blink and beep, and a clock that keeps time while you're not playing.
Every game is a little device of its own, with its own colors and printed faceplate:
• Signal Yard: route cargo pods to the dock that matches their symbol.
• Moon Courier: jump rocks, duck under arches and switch lanes on the Moon.
• Reef Relay: steer a little sub to fetch a capsule before the battery runs flat.
• Lantern Line: watch the lanterns light up, then repeat the order.
• Circuit Sweep: turn the pipes until the lamp lights.
• Cake Tower: drop each layer dead on and stack a six-tier cake.
• Twin Bridges: lift two drawbridges for the boats and lower them for the cars.
• Plate Spinner: keep the plates spinning on their poles before they wobble off.
• Frog Chorus: press along with four singing frogs, right on the beat.
• Frost Fisher: hook fish through the ice and pull the line up before the pike bites.
Every game has two modes with separate high scores, a short instruction booklet you try out on the real keys, three misses before game over, and a bonus every 300 points.
Made for folding. Hold your iPhone Duo sideways to browse the collection. Turn it upright and half-fold it, and the game opens like a little clamshell: the screen on top, the controls below. Close it and keep playing on the outer display. If a fold moves the screen, or you close the device, Games and Fold pauses and counts you back in, so a fold never costs you a life. Leave it standing on your desk and it shows the time.
Plays on any iPhone, too: sideways to browse, upright to play. Works offline, no Wi-Fi needed. No account, no ads, no tracking.
