I make games on my Game Salad account and I use this app to download them to my other devices. I’m just a beginner so this works really well . I have no issues with this app so far and it works great.👍
Very buggy
Image files become white squares after first launch. This problem was first mentioned in 2011– still no fix. Wifi link constantly disconnects and requires a hard app close to fix.
Worthless
I can't get the goddamn thing to work. I've contacted all the support, gone through everything I can find on the website, and still nothing works. Absolutely horrible.
Issue When Loading Previews
Worked great at first. My device keeps disconnecting when loading previews. Maybe an update is in order?

Potentially very good
Awful problems when rotating the app - this really needs fixing. Would be great to delete individual games from the list, not just all of them. Works well other than these two issues though.

Screen rotation causes issues. Having to reload the viewer several times.Other than that works well to test your game.

This is great, I am on a tight budget and did not want to spend the money right now to get the Apple developers certificate. All you have to do with this app is open it on your mobile device then click preview from you computer and it seamlessly sends the game to your mobile device to preview and play. Thank you!

Disconnects far too often
When it works it's great but I've found that once I close the programme on my computer and reopen it the GS viewer doesn't work. When it worked before without any changes.

Been waiting for this for years. So glad I don't need to open up Xcode and build this for every device anymore. Great job guys!
A welcome addition
I’ve been assiduously ignoring the Viewer for quite some time up until now, because trying to keep up with the gamesalad team’s - well, quite frankly - superhuman development speed (they were releasing a new engine like twice a day for a while there it felt like) was extraordinarily time consuming: it was faster to just side load the built applications through xCode than to try to keep my GS viewer up to date.
But that is a problem no more!
Thanks for finally bringing the engine to a stable state (hooray!) and subsequently bringing us a way to quickly test things without going through the build process! Well done GS team!

The GameSalad viewer makes testing my game directly on my device so much easier than it was before!
Easy To Test
I was thrilled to hear the GameSalad Viewer was coming to iOS. I was even more happy when I saw how easy it was to get my projects into my phone. Literally took 5 seconds. It's awesome and so easy to use. Great job, GameSalad!
