Best wallet app out there
I love that I can view my GameStop wallet on my phone now! I can show people the nfts I own straight from my phone. Unlike the web browser wallet, you don’t have to sign in everytime you use it since you aren’t making transactions with it. This is very convenient for me because signing in all the time is extremely annoying.

As someone passionate about direct registering shares (DRS) of my stockholdings in my own name -via transfer agents like ComputerShare-rather than my broker's, I am ecstatic that I now have the opportunity to likewise secure my crypto assets, via GameStop's self-custodial ethereum wallet.
Like the DRS process for stocks, storing my crypto in my GameStop wallet-rather than on an exchange or with a broker-safeguards me against the predatory actions of crypto "exchanges" (such as FTX) and stock brokers. For example, it guarantees-like the DRS process-that I actually receive the assets that I purchase, instead of merely receiving an IOU from my "exchange" or broker.
Again like the DRS process, it also prevents anyone from allocating my assets elsewhere without my permission, a practice recently spotlighted by the collapse of FTX (whom transferred customer assets to fund the external Alameda organization) but is also routinely conducted by stock brokerages (whom lend their customers' shares to short sellers that decrease their price).

My Assets in a Sleek and Snappy Wallet
Thanks to this new wallet release, I’m now able to keep all my digital assets in a self-custodial crypto wallet I can access on my iPhone! Not only that, but the app is super snappy with a sleek look to it. In love with this app and I have no complaints at all so far. I’m very much looking forward to added features down the road!

This will increase adoption
A built in on ramp removes the hassle of moving funds from bank to exchange to wallet. Adding simplicity to defi is key to increasing adoption. The app does it for you using apple pay. Also removes gas fee worrys because L2 is built in and only costs 18 cents to activate. With all these exchanges going under alot more people are gonna be flooding in. Not your keys not your crypto. This is the solution

Clean and easy to use
The new app is a pleasant addition from GameStop and GameStop NFT. Super clean and user friendly. It took less than 30 seconds to link my wallet and bring all my assets over to the app. Couldn’t have asked for a more simple and streamlined process. Not to mention, it’s so easy to convert currency between L1, L2, LRC, ETH, etc. This wallet is a must have for the future of gaming, collecting, and crypto.

Gamestop has done a great job making this a very simple wallet. Powerful, yet simple. Talk about an amazing user experience. I am a crytpo enthusiast and have a decade of experience holding my crypto self-custody. This wallet is sooo user friendly. You can tell that the product team really cares about welcoming folks new to crypto though all the small details that they include in the UX. Power to the Holders!!

What a fantastic crypto wallet! What’s not to like? Set up is extremely easy even an ape could do it. Functionality is top notch. Clean UI, quick on-ramp capability with ramp or wyre, easily selectable L1 or L2, and immutableX soon. The ability to easily view your holdings, collections, and transaction history. Contacts list for quick transactions between self owned wallets or friends. Safely buy, manage, and hold crypto currency, be your own bank! CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP! Thank you GameStop

It just keeps getting better
Being able to use the LoopRing network is huge. The fees are pennies and it’s incredibly fast, while being secured by the Etherium network.
Now with the IMX network soon to come, we’re finally going to be able to buy and OWN in game cosmetics, which we can then trade freely without any kind of in game marketplace. All of those hours in games can actually be worth something soon, it’ll be incredible for when you are “done” and want to move away from playing video games. No more sunk cost fallacy, you just sell all your assets and sail into the distance.

I love things that are self-custodial and I love when I can actually self manage things I buy with my money. A lot like buying shares directly in my name instead of relying on brokers to have my shares in street name and not directly tied to my name and belonging to me.
Through GameStop’s business and technology makeover they are among the first to give everyone the means to be self-custodial of their crypto assets. It makes me extremely bullish on what the future holds for this company.

Unlike other wallets (MetaMask) that track your ip, this wallet doesn’t. It is non-custodial of course. GameStop wants to bring Power to the Players, Creators, and Collectors so they arent trying to take your assets. It also has the fastest, cheapest on-ramp for funds. You can even use credit cards to either L2 (fast) or L1.
The UI is slick and you can view your NFTs through it. You can do P2P payments with QR codes so thats super easy too.

GameStop is doing great things. Already bringing people together using their physical locations, NFT market place, and now a platform that will allow us to hold our assets safely, and on our own since it’s self-custodial.

Neat, tidy little wallet!
Thanks Gamestop team for putting this together. Simple and easy to understand interface. It was a cinch to get everything setup. It took a few heart stopping minutes to see my funds show up at first. I was worried I’d dine something wrong. But 5 minutes later bam! There it was, got it set up on L 2 and away I went! Thanks again GS team!

Great user interface
I’m very new to the world of crypto, nft, blockchain. Part of it was the mystery of how to track or keep track of it all. It seemed like more of an idea. The GameStop wallet puts it into a secure location that is extremely user friendly. Looking forward to explore it more. As of right now it’s amazing. Once I’ve really interacted with buying and storing my NFT’s here and using crypto, I will change my review if it’s not up to snuff. At this point it does exactly what I was looking for in the nft/crypto world.

Worth the wait!
It’s here and it was worth the wait. This is a clean, user friendly interface that was easy to set up. I do wish the App Store would make it easier to find on a keyword search. If I had not already known it was there and made several attempts to find it, I would have missed out.
Easy to use for a newbie!
The user interface is so clean and easy to use. I’m brand new to crypto and NFTs, so I wasn’t sure how to actually buy cryptocurrencies securely. I downloaded the app, made my account and got my private key, then bought $40 worth of ethereum to get started. There were 2 options to buy ethereum via Ramp or Wyre. I chose Wyre. I used my visa credit card to buy it. Total fees to set up my wallet and buy the ethereum came to $5.08. Most of that was the one-time fee to set up my wallet. Now I’m done and ready to go! I can go shopping on the GameStop NFT Marketplace! The app lets you set up Face ID for extra security when you open the wallet, instead of a password, which is nice.

Can’t believe how simple this is!
I’ve been waiting a long time for this wallet and was not disappointed! The UI is so easy to navigate and the transfer of assets was a breeze! Looking forward to all the possibilities soon to come! This is the future that everyone has been talking about IRL! I feel like now I can be my own bank.
Actual ownership of digital assets
Gaming and NFTs are a match made in heaven. It’s a delightful decision by GameStop to seize the opportunity and partner with Loopring to bring these low layer 2 fees. This combined with Loopring Smart Wallet allows me to protect tokens/collectibles behind guardian verification. If I ever lose one secret phrase I’m covered by friends, family, and the Loopring founding org. My assets are mine - Protected by my identity and reputation, and that’s the greatest achievement of this now in my eyes.

Just The Beginning
The new GameStop wallet is awesome. Super easy to set up and purchase eth with a card or Apple Pay. Activation was easy and transactions from my loopring wallet were near instantaneous.
Looking forward to the additional functionality with updates and hopefully a direct link in app to the GameStop NFT Marketplace.
