About
alk a room once and it becomes a floor plan.
GameView Scan uses the LiDAR scanner on your iPhone Pro to measure a room: the walls, the doors and windows, and the furniture standing in it. It turns that into a clean, dimensioned floor plan and a 3D model. No account, no sign-up and no tape measure.
It suits anyone who needs an accurate room fast: installers and integrators walking a site, contractors quoting a job, venue and event staff planning a layout, or someone measuring a room at home.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tap New scan.
2. Hold the phone upright at chest height and walk the room slowly. The scanner outlines walls and objects as you go.
3. Tap Done. You get the finished plan, with every wall measured.
4. Keep it in your library, look at it in 3D, or export it.
WHAT YOU GET
• A measured floor plan: overall dimensions, wall lengths, doors and windows.
• Furniture and fixtures placed and sized: tables, seating, counters, storage, televisions.
• A 3D model of the room you can spin and zoom.
• Export to PNG (floor plan), USDZ (3D model) and JSON (geometry) through the share sheet.
• A library of every scan on the phone, to rename, review or delete.
• Scan the same space more than once and the passes merge into one more complete plan (iOS 17 and later).
FOR GAMEVIEW VENUES
If your business uses GameView to run the televisions in a bar, restaurant or venue, sign in with your GameView Manager account and a finished plan goes straight to that venue's page. It then becomes the layout your screens, scoreboards and signage are arranged on. Signing in is optional and only needed for this.
WHAT YOU NEED
• An iPhone with a LiDAR scanner. That is the Pro models, iPhone 12 Pro and later.
PRIVACY
The camera and the LiDAR scanner run only while you are scanning. Nothing is photographed or recorded. Your scans stay on your phone unless you choose to send one to a GameView venue.
