I found this app very useful when pre-running bike tours. It has a tracking feature that allows me to document best routes and waypoint logging features that make it easy to take audio notes and photos of points of interest along the route. Such information is particularly valuable with trails that are poorly mapped or are completely off road or even when the best urban routes are not obvious.
