I love it, so I bought a 2nd receiver for my other garage door
Since most of my cars are Homelink capable, I don’t need it most of the time, but one of my cars isn’t so I won’t need to carry the remote in it anymore. I also won’t need to remember to grab the remote out of my car if someone picks me up to give me a ride. And I can give access to friends and family if I need to.
I evaluated the other Bluetooth-style garage door apps. This one seemed to be the best available option, as it supports up to 8 devices paired to one receiver. I’m happy with my purchase.
It’s just so so
Apple watch
Seems abandoned
Apple Watch
GarageMate
I have three and they work great.

Replace Your Garage Door Opener With GarageMate
GarageMate
I had a minor problem wiring to the (wrong) terminals on the opener. Five minutes on the phone which support and I was up and running.
Great App!
Works pretty good but could be much better
Apple Watch 3 to 6
I’m only writing now because I’m lazy! You can get an app for GarageMate on Apple Watch which I did and it was fantastic, but quit when I upgraded my series 3 to series 6. Well, I contacted BlueMate tonight and they got back to me within two hours. Solved my problem. (Thanks Lou!) And it’s Sunday! (Lou, take a break.)
If you’re having the same problem with your Apple Watch, here’s what Lou sent me:
We can definitely get it working with your Series6 watch. Sometimes the iPhone gets in a confused state when you change watches.
Your Watch has a App Store App. Launch it directly on your watch and then use scribble pad to find GarageMate. You should then be able to install it assuming you have entered your App store credentials on the watch.
That should do it. Let us know if you have any trouble.
Could be a 5
No updates for newer iOS
I do love the hardware. I’m curious if there is another way I can make use of it.
HomeKit
Watch app makes it even better
Love this! Please make it Apple watch compatible!
Good. App could use some love
Recommended for security (no internet usage, and no company servers to go down) and functionality/reliability. Just wish it was easier to configure when people upgrade their phones, and that it supported CarPlay (which seems like a super-obvious feature).
