About

"Did I already prune the currants this year?" Garden Hour is not a plant encyclopedia. It answers a single question: what actually makes sense to do in your garden today. TODAY Open the app and see: 8 tasks · 58 minutes. Tell it how much time you have and whether it's raining - it picks what matters most and calmly sets the rest aside. And when you can skip something, you learn why: "No watering needed, it rained yesterday." Reassurance without a reason is a black box; here every "you can skip it" comes with its explanation. YOUR GARDEN, NOT A CATALOG No database of 800 tomato varieties. Your beds, greenhouse, cold frame, trees and bushes exactly as you have them - every plant with its own hand-painted watercolor (press and hold to see it in full). Tap to adjust the count, move a plant between beds, rename a bed "by the fence" the way you actually call it. A DIARY THAT WRITES ITSELF Every task you check off becomes an entry. Your tomatoes get a story told by seasons: sowing, planting out, first harvest, yields in kilos - while routine quietly folds into one line, "Watered 45×". Come autumn, "2026 vs. 2025" reads itself. Photos and notes are a bonus, never a duty. CROP ROTATION The garden remembers what grew where. When you plant a bed in spring, a quiet warning appears: "Tomatoes grew here in 2025" - at the exact moment you're deciding, not a page away. GUIDES AT HAND How to prune raspberries, when to pinch tomatoes, how to graft an apple tree - step by step, with pictures, right on the plant or task they belong to. WEATHER One switch: raining / not raining. Plus a quiet hint from Apple Weather ("11 mm of rain here in the last 24 h"). Weather advises; it never decides for you. PRINCIPLES • No accounts, no sign-up • Fully offline - your data stays on your phone • No ads, no tracking • Anything within three taps Less thinking. More gardening.

What's New in Garden Hour

1.1

September 18, 2026

The widget is here. What the garden needs today now sits on your home screen — in three sizes and on the lock screen: how many jobs, how long, and the first of them by name. One tap lands on Today. It works a week ahead, so it still holds when the app hasn't been opened for a few days. Your own tasks can now be planned ahead and repeated — once, every week, month, year, or on a custom number of days. Write it down once, and the app keeps track of when it's due again. When you're picking what to plant in spring, the app now quietly warns you if the same crop grew in that spot last year — right when you're deciding. Also: the app now speaks German and Polish — all of it, guides included.
