Well-designed and attractive
The app's content is clear, well-organised, and easy to read (in both Italian and English). The gardens are listed by location by municipality and by type of estate (villa, palazzo, park, etc.). Each garden's page shows a few zoomable photos, beneath which is a small scrollable section containing the garden's historical background, as well as information about any species, trees, shrubs and perennials unique to it.
You can save gardens to a list of favourites, which you can then choose to share with friends via email, Facebook or Twitter, or email to yourself. When you press the information button, a smaller black slide is superimposed (which looks really cool) and you'll see on it the garden's address, phone number, website (a live link you can open from inside the app), the days and hours the garden is open, ticket prices, whether you need tickets in advance, and if the garden allows guided tours.
Five stars for such an informative, easy-to-use and pretty app about the Gardens of Lake Como.
