What's New in Garitas

2.43.2

October 24, 2026

In a wide iPhone Duo window, the separate button above PRO shows or hides Favorites. If the App Store cannot load Garitas Pro, paid features remain protected and PRO stays visible with a retry option. Existing subscribers keep their verified access. Schedule recurring Pro alerts from a crossing’s calendar using its local time, opening hours and chosen weekdays. On iPhone Duo, crossing types, Ports, PRO and What’s New use the system’s vertical toolbar; the calendar and alarm remain in crossing details. Ordinary iPhone and iPad keep their existing controls. Apple Watch makes lane waits, report sources and times easier to compare, with a full-day chart that separates reported and typical patterns. Colombia–Solidaridad now appears in Colombia, Nuevo León, across from Laredo, Texas. Nuevo León stays visible in Ports after adding its crossing to favorites. Favorite cards have a simpler footer without the small unlabeled graph; the full chart remains in crossing details.

Thank you for taking the time to make an application that is fairly easy to navigate. I like the lay out and its nice to see someone trying to help with updates at the Mexican side of the border. You are doing a good job.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave a review! We’re really glad you find the app easy to navigate and that it’s been helpful for border updates, especially on the Mexican side. Your encouragement means a lot and motivates us to keep improving the app with more accurate information and new features. Thanks again for your support, and safe travels! 🚗🇲🇽🇺🇸

Bad After Updates

Lately you did all kinds of updates and the app is now useless. Doesn't even show Ped West in San Ysidro. Can't use the app. What have you done? Why didn't you just leave it the way it was?? Jeeze.

Response from developer

Thank you for the honest feedback — it genuinely helps us improve. You’re right: PedWest was removed because CBP stopped publishing its wait times while it was closed. Now that it’s back, we’re restoring it in an upcoming update. Sorry for the frustration, and thanks for your patience — we’ll keep working to make the app better.
