This app is as awful as the camera it tries to work with (dashcam 55). Unreliable. Loses connection with the camera even when the camera is plugged in.

Unusuable app
Old, broken, useless. WiFi feature doesn’t connect to the network. Cannot view dashcam videos on iphone. You have to plug the MicroSD card into a computer to retrieve your videos. Apple should remove this app from the appstore

App stopped connecting
Connection via WiFi works, but nothing is connecting using the app when try to share the video. The keep saying hold you phone near the camera.
Waste of time
Could connect to wifi on dashcam 45 but the app then didn’t detect it.

Does not connect to my 65W
Frustrating having to use this stupid app, does not connect at all.
Used to be great now it’s abandoned
This used to be a great and really convenient app that I was able to pull up any footage that I needed while driving. Unfortunately, the developers have given up on the app and now you cannot connect any of your dash cams onto the app I had to buy a microSD card to USB adapter in order to retrieve my footage.

iOS 17
Doesn’t seem to work on iOS 17. I connect to my dash cam and the app still says i need to connect. Never had the problem before upgrading.
Garbage app, useless
The app won’t connect my IPhone 14 to the dash cam. The phone detects the wi fi signal of the dash cam but will not connect. The error message said no internet connection detected. The only way to view videos is to connect the dash cam to a PC.

This app does not work. It is unable to view video files stored on the camera. That is the whole purpose of the app.

Garmin VIRB is rubbish
Frustrating app. Waste of time. In the end have remove the camera & connect to a Windows pc to download. Save your money. Buy something that is easy & reliable
This app renders the camera itself useless
This app is absolute garbage, you’ve had years to fix it and you haven’t. I will be throwing my expensive Garmin 55 in the trash and buying something else.
Way Better than before.
I never used this app when I first got the camera it was so bad. Now you can do the 3D perspective edits sane as the desktop version quite easily. Glad I tried it again after several years.
