NOTIFICATIONS ON YOUR PHONE. Gather can now send you a banner when someone messages you or posts in a channel you're in - whether the app is closed or open. Turn it on under More > Notifications. The app icon shows how many messages are waiting, and the number goes down as you read them. Mutes, quiet hours and your notification preferences all still apply. FELLOWSHIP MEALS, REBUILT. Setting up groups and pairings is now three plain steps. And when your family RSVPs you can tick exactly who is coming, so a sick child no longer throws off the host's headcount. REPEATING EVENTS THAT UNDERSTAND "THE FIRST WEDNESDAY." Monthly events can now repeat by weekday position, not just the same calendar date. PLUS: leaders can fill in the time, address and theme for any fellowship meal; children can have a photo and a birthday; and a long list of smaller fixes throughout.
