Joined to use for various forums like Arboristsite and Smith & Wesson. Looks like app is being updated and refined regularly. Lots of early bugs are being worked out. Fairly easy to use, just takes a little getting used to.

But now you have made the mobile page forcefully advertise on the forum taking up half the screen. I’m on one forum, and don’t follow any other of the forums. I want a classic forum experience not a social media sump of garbage.

Joined for Arboristsite
I joined to view Arboristsite. Let’s be honest, I joined for a chance to win a new Stihl MS500i chainsaw. But I am liking the app and it’s much easier to use a central app to read forums than having to log in to each one separately. I still have some learning to do as far as navigating around but I’m sure it will soon be second nature.

I’m new to forums and to Gather but it seems easy to navigate and comment on the forum. There crowd in the Smith and Wesson forum seem very helpful. I’m looking forward to reading more.

Good app if you like to view forums in an app.
Big improvement over mobile website
I downloaded Gather as an easier means to interact with the Smith and Wesson forum. The app provides a much nicer user experience than trying to post via the mobile website, and the signup couldn't have been easier.

Joined the S&W Forum on the Gather app. Much better experience than engaging through the internet browser. Found a lot of other groups of interest that I wouldn’t know existed had I not joined.
