Great app but has real time glitches also wish GPS options were there too

Your apps had a glitch it showed us our community it said we had left our houses but we still at home. Is there a way to fix it.

Location
I find that even though I am Within 3 miles of a tower and my family, I have to refresh the page 2 or three times to get it to open and fully load. When I check tracking or locating, it says last updated an hour ago my loved one could be a long distance in an hour.
Glitch

Hello - Sometimes the phone's GPS can report some slight changes in location due to drops in connectivity. If you reach out to us at support@gather.life we can get the information we need to look into specifically what is happening in your case. In the meantime, you can customize the size of the place alerts to be larger to not trigger from this kind of GPS connectivity issue. Thank you!

Battery killer
The app does what it should, but good golly it drains my battery faster than having Pokémon Go open (and for those that’ve played you know how bad that drain is).
Every time I leave the house, the clock turns blue which means an app is actively tracking my location (unlike Google Maps location services in which runs silently in the background and doesn’t kill my battery).
If I swipe up to switch apps, Gather is right there running - and it shouldn’t be!
@developers - please learn to properly implement location services running in the background, because this ain’t that.

broken sign in and lowkey creepy features
the continue with apple feature is broken and will not let you sign in.
also, certain features like the section that builds up a history of your gps data every day just seems really unnecessary and creepy/abusive.

One app, many possibilities
I am loving using this app as a split family, I can co-parent without sharing my location and manage all the vehicles in one place. It makes me feel safe and makes me very happy that they don’t sell or share my family’s data with 3rd party and there are no annoying ads! This is a win for me with privacy and safety and no subscription fees for the same things I was paying $15/month. Plus, they have a whole vehicle side for managing my family vehicles.
