Its Ok
It resets the collections periodically, leading to a lot of frustration cause I have to re organize my images to the correct collections. Also missing some much needed bulk editing features.
Great but missing key features.
It’s great at creating inspiration boards or mood boards that are local but it lacks in the tools that would make it an actual amazing organization tool, such as bulk tag or keyword editing. Otherwise, it’s the best in the market
Promising UI but missing key features
I’ve been hunting for an app that will help me optimise my research and resource gathering process for years (I’m a visual creative). This app looks promising but the quickest way to share content you come across to the app is to manually copy and paste it and then manually add links etc. No quick actions, no ability to add the app to the ‘open in’ section in Safari. Full purchase price is therefore extremely steep given this. Additionally, I’d love to see the ability to clip text and articles or links as well as images.

It’s only missing one thing.
I cannot express how many times I’ve dreamed of this exact app existing. And by “exact”, I literally mean there is nothing about it I would change… but there is one thing I would add, and that is GIF file support.
Upon testing if GIF files were compatible with this app, I cannot express how disappointed I was when I found out that—while you can import GIF files themselves no problem, they never actually move at all, for the app will only display the first frame of the GIF—and I was only as disappointed as I was because it felt like I was so close to having the perfect application that I’ve been seeking out for so long.
For the sake of comparison, if we take Google Photos, for example (a very similar photo/album management app), within each album you have on it, GIFs are are not only compatible, but they move as they are supposed to. This is the case not only upon expanding the image, but also upon the entire photo grid view. In other words, I can scroll through all of my photos, and the GIFs will still constantly loop live.
If there is any possibility of this being an added feature/ability regarding the future of this app, then this app will deserve five stars in my book. (Maybe even six!) Otherwise, it is phenomenal regardless, and I can’t thank you enough for it!

Great App, but Struggles with Large Libary
I tried a bunch of apps for collecting and organising reference images, and this is by far the closest to what I need! Great iOS native UI design, iCloud sync, nondestructive markup, automatic colour palette, and best of all, there’s no account needed, and no subscription. UPDATE: Lowered rating because I have found it really struggles with large volumes of images (over 1k), unfortunately. The free version only lets you import 50 images so be aware that if you have a large library you may have trouble.

Too slow loading
I collected a couple of pictures in it. Every time I open it, it keeps loading until I lose my patience and close it.

Crashes
This app is not useful to me. I lost all my images due to it crashing.
A good start
This app shows a lot of promise, so I've paid for it, but it still has a way to go to fulfil its potential. The main problem I've found with it is inconsistency in importing (via drag and drop) and saving images. If I try to drag in a few images at once, some of them will show up on my board and others, mysteriously, won't. The app will also frequently 'lose' an already imported image (which will either show up unexpectedly in trash, or disappear altogether), or duplicate an existing image. This usually happens when I try to rearrange images on a page or import a new image. Once Gathered can import images reliably - singly or in small batches, not disappear images at random, and allow me to rearrange images without losing or duplicating them, it'll be a great app. I look forward to seeing it mature.

A bit buggy on Desktop
I haven't a use case for mobile but desktop only and the app is pretty troubling sometimes as a mac app.
Amazing app
Have to say this app is one of my favorites, it’s invaluable for keeping track of assets and inspiration for graphics and design work. It’s like a personal pinterest. I like that the app interface is super polished and instantly intuitive to anyone familiar with iOS. It’s especially great how the native markup tool is integrated right into the app as well.
If I had a critique, I wish the markup annotations would show all the time, not just when the full image is viewed. But it’s not a huge deal.
Awesome that it’s a single purchase for the iPad, iPhone, AND the Mac versions.. Since most apps would charge a separate fee for each, it’s a steal for something that flawlessly syncs between all my devices.

Was expecting more
Doesn’t really do much. Was pretty surprised to see such a basic app have a monthly subscription built into it.. i’d much rather something this simple allow me tonuse all the features for a one time fee.
Great Concept but Lacking Features
Overall this app concept was exactly what I was looking for and purchased a month trial on my MacBook. Unfortunately I’ve already canceled my subscription because of the app lacking some important features.
1. Not being able to share your boards is the main missing feature that made me switch to another app. This feature is extremely important for anyone collaborating on a group project.
2. There were also a few bugs within the app that were beyond annoying. Anytime I’d try to save one of the images to my photos folder, it wouldn’t let me save another image until the program was closed and reopened.
3. My account wouldn’t sync to the app on my iphone which is feature that’s a must for busy on the go people who aren’t able to take their laptops with them.

Almost Perfect
Part of being a creative is being inspired and I have alot of images ive saved up over the years that I would rather keep into organized tabs and this app does it perfectly. Ive wanted something like this since forever.
The only thing i would suggest is letting us share our tabs with other people because right now you cant send your stuff to any other app or person currently on ios.

Almost there!
I use Dropmark and a few other methods to organize images, inspiration etc. This is really close to being a replacement since it’s native and minimal. Only thing I’d Ivone is the ability to save reference websites along with images. I currently screenshot sites and add them into the info, but it’s not super efficient. I do web design so saving inspiration sites etc would be super cool along with my general reference/mood images.

Thank you for the positive review and for your feedback! Right now, the website URL field in the item info can be used to save any website address you want to associate with an item. I will also make sure to enhance the experience of saving website related content in a future update to the app.
Mass import needed
It looks a lot like pinterest and it’s pretty attractive scrolling through completed album. Free version only allows you 20 photos though which is basically nothing.
Suggestions:
•You can only add one by one which isnt very effective.
•You should be able to add tags to better organize.
•When clicking an image you should be able to swipe left and right based on sequential upload.
•When holding image and dragging you should be able to re-arrange location/change sequence

Thank you very much for your review and feedback! You can expect multi import, tags and other features coming in future updates to the app. As for rearranging with drag & drop, this is possible if you set the sort order of your collection to 'manually'.
