What an Odd App
The Gboard is one of those apps I refuse to get rid of because of how good the keyboard is and how bad the Apple keyboard is.
But it has not been updated since 2022, that's FOUR years! Google has clearly abandoned this app and it's flaws are showing the older it gets.
But yet.... Here I am still using it sooo I guess that says something?

Over 4yrs since last update??
Kinda feels like Google gave up on making this keyboard relevant. I have to switch back to the apple keyboard for new emojis and spell check.

It’s so hard to change the theme of the keyboard to custom even with the app because I upload the picture in the app and it says see the preview in the app but I’m in the app so dumb and stupid I hate it

I installed this on my first iphone because the iphone keyboard is horrible. numbers and punctuation on a separate keyboard is useless when you type a lot of numbers. but the Gboard on iphone is the same. I can long press the top row, but every time I go to the punctuation page, the numbers disappear and I have to reset it. It’s as useless as the apple keyboard.
