Access to information, registration and materials for the 2022 VA/SAMHSA Governor’s/Mayor’s Challenge Innovations Conference. The conference will take place August 2-3, 2022, at the Westin in Alexandria, Virginia. Keynote sessions and workshops will emphasize a public health approach to suicide prevention for service members, Veterans, and their families (SMVF), highlighting innovative, best, and promising practices being implemented across the country at the state and local levels. The agenda will offer conference tracks including crisis response, data, program development and evaluation, diverse populations, families and caregivers, and protective factors. We will be bringing together all of the Governor’s Challenge and Mayor’s Challenge team leaders from across the country: fifty-five states and territories and nineteen communities.
