Not working currently
I love this prayer app which gives the church a way to stay informed about the situations of our persecuted family. However, the app is not currently working. I am praying for a quick fix and look forward to being able to access the content. Unfortunately, you there is no link in the web site to get those prayers that I’ve been able to find. Thanks for encouraging and supporting the body of Christ. God bless you!

Please remove the account feature. I don’t want to have to log in to another app. I liked the old app where it allowed everyone to access the daily prayer need.

Doesn’t save login information
Every time I open this app I must log in again. And it says there are 97! requests for prayer. That’s overwhelming.
I’m giving up. I won’t recommend this to others any longer. It’s a good concept but it’s not working. The old app was much better.

Thank you for your feedback! The newest version of the Prayer App, 1.0.11, fixes the login issue. We plan to address the number of requests shown at the top in a future update. Thanks again!
Pro tip if you’re moving over from the old app
I have been using the app for a few months now, I especially appreciate the video updates! but initially I had trouble because this “new app/version” wouldn’t let me sign in. If that’s you- I learned the log in information doesn’t transfer to the new app. You have to re-create your user with your email and set a password.

I keep getting randomly signed out even when in the app. A little frustrating.

Great App
So far my experience has been great. Has all of the features from the old app plus the World Watch list with the map kind of helps me to really connect more. It’s very user friendly. No problems at all signing up. I read a review about the font being “loud and garish” and “not fitting the buttons”. Not sure what that meant but maybe this was an old problem that they fixed? I was having an issue with the Watch List not opening. I sent support a message and the next time I used the app it loaded pretty quickly. I was happy with the old app but this one is great too.

Great redesign!!
Really like the redesign of this prayer app! In addition to reading the actual request, there is an option to write out a prayer and read other believers’ prayers as well. Not only does it bolster awareness to believers internationally, but it has increased my faith as well by knowing I am part of a larger prayer community. It is consistently updated with new requests from persecuted believers all over the world. I also like that the World Watch List produced by Open Doors is accessible in the same app, and I can find it easily when I want to pray for countries or regions at large. Definitely worth downloading & joining the community!

I’m so impressed with this new app! I really appreciate the details given. It touches my heart and moves me to pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ who are struggling. This app has given me the opportunity to feel connected to my brothers and sisters all over this world, especially those who are hurting. I’m so grateful for open doors!

Amazing app to use for prayer
So thankful for this prayer app. The stories help me connect to my persecuted family. It’s so rewarding to pray alongside them and understand the challenges they face. I’m also inspired by their resilient faith.
The new app design is excellent too. The videos are helpful and I love the fact that the World Watch List countries are included. There’s so much context and info around each of the 50 most dangerous countries for Christians.

Not an improvement over the previous app
Sorry my brothers but this app has not in my opinion been tested enough. The fonts are too large, too loud and garish. In some cases the words don’t fit into the button where they are placed. There is so much you are trying to do with the app it has become messy and confusing. Before it did one and it did it very well. - it told one story and led us in prayer. The new format is distracting to the one objective. So I am uninstalling this and reinstalled the previous version.
