I live in Texas. The amount of money I have saved thanks to this app is incredible. I do not understand the hate.
Buggy
Constantly signs you out, no matter how many times you sign in. It has nothing to do with password changes. The whole app will break until you have to sign out and back in again regularly.
It’s especially annoying since I only use it to check my future schedule on my phone - pretty simple task. Apparently not.

Budget is Messed up
Unable to get an accurate assessment of how much dining dollars I can spend because it says the semester ends on July 2nd, 2026. For frame of reference, today is September 14, 2025, so the semester actually ends sometime in December. Thus it always says that my daily budget is super low and I go into the negative every day. Pls fix this.

I cannot access my classes or coursework. This app is useless.
Terrible
This app is so unreliable and it’s terrible for an “ID.” It will sign you out without warning and then you can’t even sign in because it keeps looping the sign in page. It’s the only app for a valid student ID and it’s terrible. I’ve been using the GCU Life app for food and stuff but I can’t add my picture so it’s not a valid ID.

Worthless app
This app is basically worthless. You can’t access your class and course work through it.
This app is for campus students only.
I can’t access my classes on the phone. They need to develop an alternative student app for online students. This only serves people who attend school in person.
Not worth the download
This app is useless. At my other college we used canvas and once we downloaded the canvas app we could receive messages from instructors and type messages to instructors through our phone. We were also able to view homework assignments and more on the app. With the GCU app it has none of those functions. Which is useless for an online student. I messaged my instructor about an issue I encountered and now I have to constantly check to see if I got a message by logging into a browser (which takes time). This is not practical for students who do not live on campus or in Arizona.

ON CAMPUS review
This is the worst app in the history of apps. It was bad last year but the problems have increased tenfold. The moment I close the app it’s like the devil has possessed it. Suddenly I can’t see any of the stuff I want to anymore. So I log out and log back in. Then I get stuck on the log in page for a billion years. ALL I WANT. IS TO BE ABLE TO OPEN THE APP. AND SEE HOW MANY DINING DOLLARS I HAVE. it cannot possibly be that difficult to create an app that can fulfill that.

Garbage
For GCU to force students to use this app to show I’d while no longer printing out physical ids is peak idiocy. The id never works the cache never loads. Need to re login again every time the cache fails. Forgot my phone one day and I had to argue with security at the gate to let me in so I can get to the classes I pay thousands of dollars for, all could have been avoided if you still printed out physical ids. Maybe use the tuition students pay to actually make functioning app before forcing them to use this trash app.

This app just always breaks and never works
Worst app i've ever used in my entire life
This app is so bad that I finally lost my mind after 4 years and threw my phone, leaving it basically bent at a 60 degree angle. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE never download this app and everyone possible needs to report it for being the worst app ever. A high school student could develop a better app. Like I don't even know what to do anymore, it is just utterly baffling that they cannot develop a better app. Just simply unbelievable.

Trash
Dysfunctional, glitchy, and you always have to restart the app and log in again. Fix it.
Never Works
The app never is operating at full functionality. It always forces its users to sign out and back in with each time the app is used. The app would be better off being disbanded.
