This app only works when it feels like it. It's garbage.
Garbage app
Piece of junk doesn’t pair. Lame developers not fixing their lame app
Getting worse and worse as time drags on.
The app used to work well, but slowly everything is failing, no longer connecting, losing features, and losing the ability to connect/reconnect/control accessories. This thing was a waste of money.

Hey RYOBI you tricked us into buying these garage door opener’s at Home Depot with great sale prices knowing that you had just lost a major lawsuit from another garage door manufacturer and you had to discontinue selling/manufacturing any future wireless garage door opener’s. The least you can do is update the app for those of us that took it up the butt because of you.

I’ve had the app and the garage door opener for years and it is still going strong. Hope Ryobi can bring it back one day.

Garage opener is quiet and smooth. The remotes do not connect well at all and the app is absolute JUNK!
Worst app ever
Garage door opener is awesome. The app is the worst. It quit working and no one at Ryobi can figure it out. I can only open the door but not close it. I can’t get into account settings to update app or delete it and re install. Totally worthless

Was never the greatest but now it’s officially horrible might be lucky to get it to work once a week, took me months to get it back in the app assuming that was the issue but clearly the software has been left behind in the dust

App was good at first but now it disconnects like every other day and it won’t open or close the garage door. For days at a time sometimes weeks.
When is it going to work with Alexa?
I remember setting this App up in the past but it wasn’t working well. Kept losing connectivity. Revisited recently and everything is working now. I assume a fix was pushed out. But I would like to see Ryobi give more attention to this GDO product now that the injunction is over.

Finally, Ryobi fixed the app now the app is working to open the garage and close garage but I’m still regretting by the product have no trust they’re gonna be continue let’s hope you stay like this keep working otherwise there is not a trust between them and a customer

Same problem… app stopped working and I cannot install or uninstall GDO and will not connect to WiFi. Customer service - months ago - said they were working on it… seems not.
They’ve given up
This app used to be awesome but Ryobi has given up on it. Never works. No updates in 3 years, can’t log in 1/2 the time always shows a notification but you can never find it. They stopped make this opener and just don’t care about the people who already bought it
6 years of success and now failure
Well, this app has been useful, it has been clunky since day one. The user interface does not operate as you would expect from such a large company.
In the last few weeks, the garage door opener has not been able to connect to Wi-Fi. I have tried to connect it multiple times and no success. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and still no success.
Starting today, I am not even able to log into the app. It appears as though all support for this app has ceased. without being able to login to the app, or connect the garage door openers to Wi-Fi, they are essentially no better than a 1960s craftsman garage door opener.

Down again going on week 3
Everytime apple does security update this app crashes.
Horrible App
We purchased two openers and they barely work through the app. They will work for some time and then not work. The remotes are hit or miss and the app is trash. Now we are in the market for a new system that is reliable.
