Why do you need payment methods?
I'm not signing up for something I have to pay for, when it's free to Vote. Just show your REAL ID. Also the reviews don't sound good.
Add Comments Per Item on Sample Ballot
Really enjoy using this App to speed the voting process. Would really like to see a User Comment Box for each election item in My Sample Ballot. I believe this would really help discussing one’s choices with friends.
Asking for more info than it should
Tried to use, it asked for more information than I want to give. Really should just let you enter a zip code. No honest reason to ask for more
Works accepted around election time
When an election comes around GEAUX vote does not recognize me. I go on website and I’m there Why is that Maybe they don’t want me voting for local elections?

Could use some improvement. It would be nice if the app showed you not only your precinct, but also your district and who all of your sitting elected officials are. Bonus would be a direct link to their contact information if you needed to call or email about a specific issue.
Don’t waste your time!
My husband and I both downloaded this app when it first came out. It worked then but now it does not. We have voted in every election in our parish since we have lived here and have been registered voters since the age of 18. Now it tells us “No voter found”. It’s truly ashame that taxpayer dollars were used to create this app and it doesn’t work. Wish the news media in Louisiana would quit directing voters to this app. IT DOESN’T WORK!!!!

Bad app
Can’t get any info on this app. It tells me there is no voter info. I’ve voted in every election and it can’t find me. Need to fix the app or get rid of it!
Beware- Personal Identity Information is Exposed
11/10/23- I checked the status of an absentee ballot sent and was shocked.
Upon entering the required sign on information required by the State another person’s name was on MY ballot with all personal voter registration information visible.
I do not think there is an active attempt to defraud anyone by the State. This is another example of poor training or incompetency which has grave consequences for the individual.
No wonder identity theft is rampart .

Works great
App does what I need from an app. It gives me a listing of candidates and things we will be voting on such as proposed taxes, constitutional amendments, etc. when the final ballot has been determined. I can do a sample ballot on my phone which stays on my phone, not shared with anyone and use when casting my vote. Then as election results are reported to the state and tabulated I have automatic updates within the app. There is a very short learning curve to be able enjoy all the benefits of the app. But even with a deficit in my vision, I easily get the info I need MUCH faster than from the news media. And targeted to my precinct, parish or statewide. That way I do not have to listen to essentially irrelevant election results repeatedly to hear what I need to know.

Lost my info
Have to vote October 13. Went looked up all the details and info on who all I wanted to vote for. Logged back in and everything I had saved and looked up was gone. Do not trust!!!
And / or
For some reason to view my ballot I am now required to enter first/last name & zip code and/or birth month & year. To top that off the and/or does not register. You can not skip the month/year as it puts you into that selection and if you get out of it, it puts a wrong a month/year in for you. Do you continue with the improper information or correct it and continue?

Geaux Vote App
This new app is very confusing. It is not user friendly. We cannot find out where you can find other voters.

I’d have given this 4 or 5 stars before I went to vote today. I’d entered my choices and the app showed them when I left my house. When I arrived at the poll, the app was not functioning (I forget the error message). I tried repeatedly, restarted my phone, finally deleted the app and reinstalled it, but the same error message appeared.
A sympathetic poll worker could access the app on her phone, but (security feature) my votes were not marked.
Now, three hours later, it’s working again but my choices were not saved.
