The UX/UI is user friendly, and it’s great for sharing photos and video in a safe space with my family and friends. Highly recommend!

This seemed like a great concept, and I was going to use this platform to chat with classmates, but I am not getting my verification email even though I’ve resended it about 7 times.
Needs a few improvements

The canvases work great for messaging. I love the fact I can let my child message family and friends. The BIG draw back is that everybody I know has tried to get the notifications to pop up saying there is a new message in the canvas, but it never alerts them. No notifications or sounds for a new message means you don’t know a message is there unless you open the app to check. Sure there is a notifications section there that tells you which canvases have new messages, but you have to open the app to see it. The app ask to allow push notifications to the device. They are turned on. We want these to work. We want alerts that a new message is there as soon as it is posted. Allowing you to choose push notifications from specific canvases would be nice, but right now I’d just be happy if I could get push notifications to work at all. I’ll keep using this app while I search for something else because it allows security for my child to safely message family and friends. If I find something better, I’ll switch if this doesn’t get better though. If it improves, I’ll change my review to a better rating.

Unable to connect to server
Every time I try to register or log in, I get a notification that says unable to connect to server. What a waste of time and a waste of fun and that's why I don't do geckolife anymore.
A lot safer than Facebook & Twitter
This app is so much better than Facebook and Twitter because you don't have to worry about people badmouthing you or random people who are sending you friend requests or follower requests.... Imagine GeckoLife as Facebook and Twitter for people with disabilities and with GeckoLife, people with disabilities don't have to worry about strangers sending them friend requests or follower requests. I would strongly recommend GeckoLife for people with disabilities so they can keep in touch with friends and family.... Way to go GeckoLife, keep up the great work!!!

Sharing is caring
I love sharing stuff with all my friends- with this I can share specific album band pictures with different set of people easily. If you have kids, you have kids, you can even block specific pictures. It binds people together.
Photos
So iCloud does offer sharing of photos from one device to another and even sharing albums with people . Now this app does that as well,but it requires the other person to have this installed. Messaging is good feature,canvases are also unique . Similarly,more unique features should be added and I am sure this will go long way. They have got the core concept which is very strong.

I would highly recommend this app.its really gets the entire group together and in one place . I have my family and friends separately out . Different set of pictures get shared with different people and we can even text within the app
