Broken

I couldn't see any of the stickers when I downloaded. Not on the app or in the keyboard. Sad because I really wanted gaia emoji but this is broken I guess.

Images won’t load

What the title says. Even if restarted, reinstalled, re...

This is a joke... right...?

It looked cute... until it wasn't. At first I thought, oh this app looks interesting, maybe I'll try it out and give Gaia a chance. I regretted downloading this app the moment I saw the price tag. I don't get it. It's absurd. End of story. Another app bites the dust. I liked you Gaia. I really did. Or, should I say I liked the '07 Gaia. The '16 Gaia? It's a joke. A big, fat corporate joke. It was nice knowing you. Oh, and this "app" deserves -5 "stars".

Smh

Terrible app. The stickers are bland. The only steal in prices is from my own pocket. I'm not quite sure why the Gaia team made this when you all should be working on your failing website that I've forced myself to continue to use since 2004. I get that everyone has bills to pay, but the issue is; don't fix things that aren't broken. And don't ditch out on a project because it's "not profitable".

So sad to see Gaia stoop to this.

It's just another grab at your cash. Glitchy. Clearly no time or true effort put into it. Look at all the other 1 star ratings. They're not lying. I made the mistake of trying it anyway. You can't access anything worth while without coughing up a TON of money. Plus I kind of downloaded it just so the stupid pop up would stop blaring in my face on Gaia. But. I was hopeful. :( Only to be disappointed. I've been using Gaia for 12 years. Ugh. So sad.

What the actual f*ck

Is this a joke?

Frustrated

Keep trying to open Geemoji only to have it perpetually load and then close itself. All my other apps that require Internet to work, work fine. Just not Geemoji.

garbage

this app barely functions, it's caused over heated phones, constant crashing of other apps, and 98% of the stuff you have to pay for anyways. it's not real emoji, it's the copy paste crap and it looks awful translated over to other apps like FB and LINE. this is not nor was it ever worth the time and money put into it. ps: we can tell when the reviews are fake gaia, step it up.

Trust the 1-star reviews. It's awful.

I won't go into the price, bland art, or non-functionality of this falsely advertised "emoji" "keyboard". Just read the other 1-star reviews. They're all true. But I must warn that unless you dump money on the overpriced PNGs or fonts the app won't remember anything you download if it gets deleted. (Some ppl posted about that in the forums but I think it should be here too.) Premium stuff that's free for a day will say that you own it if you download it, but it won't count either. You'll have to buy if you want to use it again in the future.

This app is a shameful example of corporate greed + bad decisions, & the way Gaia is shoveling it at its already disgusted users is invasive and annoying as hell, like pop-up ads multiple times a day that even Adblock can't get rid of.

All Gaians reading this should look up the staff reviews for Gaia Interactive on Glassdoor & similar sites. It'll give you a LOT of insight into how overworked they are, how & why the site - plus failure projects like this app - has become the drowning cesspool it is now, as well as a possible way to save a shred of its old integrity (hint: GC protestors are onto something).

Bottom line: Don't bother. Save the space on your phone for s/t actually useful.

Terriboo

Like it barely works it's 2 expensive and is obviously a grab for money which they could earn if they brought rig prices down and had 50 and 100pks of recolor rigs still and hadn't nerfed the rainbow ticket. -10/10 Gaia

Why are they so big?

I love Gaia, I was excited for this but they are so big. Thought they would be adorable little emojis. Much disappoint.

Gaia...

I love you Gaia. I have loved you since you first started as that wonderfully adorable go-Gaia. But the money mongering is disgusting. I used to love donating to the site. Doing my "part" to help.
Now it's more of a ... When will they post something "not" for GC. :/ come back to your roots Gaia. Remember your users... Stop focusing only on profit margins.

Free is never really free when its gaiaonline

Not that I was really surprised. I mean, we've seen this kind of behavior from Gaiaonline again and again. Word of advice. Don't waste your time. This "free" app really only includes the emoji and font store, where you have to "Pay" for the fonts and stickers advertised. Most stickers cost $0.99 and the fonts cost a whopping $4.99. Save yourself the space on your phone and the disappointment and just pass this one by.

Come on, Gaia.

I gave it a fair shake, despite the outcry against the app, but I am sad to say the naysayers were right. The pasted stickers have decreased quality, the prices are frankly appalling, and the whole process is simply not worth it, even for the free stickers that are included. Bitmoji is the same concept, but with better execution; the customizable character personalizes the images, pasted quality is good, and overall very few stickers require purchase. Don't call it free when it's clearly a money-grab.

You will waste valuable time of your life downloading this.

Not worth it at all.

😰😓

Stuff like this is what drives users away. Don't get me wrong, the art for these emojis are ADORABLE. The thing is that we'd have to pay so much money for them. If Gaia really does need the money then they could perhaps try something else. Hell, if they said they needed the funding I'd donate a small amount :/ I like this website but the people behind it just keep making bad decisions.

trash

Noop

Wow, after having been gone from Gaia for over 5 years, I come back and everything seems broken somehow. Within a week I effortlessly take in 1 billion G from the over-inflated digital economy on the site, and then there's constantly a sense of Gaia begging for my money including throw-away apps like this that I don't think I'd even use.

Deleted it within minutes of download because I resent a happy piece of my childhood nostalgia being reduced to a pandering chunk of crap app like this. You let me down, guys.

Waste of dev resources

I did pick this up because it's free why not. Of course all the stuff I might actually use is not free. I was just testing it out just now and the interface to use something is not at all intuitive. I get that in most companies you have different teams working on different things, but this seems like a complete waste of time and resources when there are other features that badly need attention on the site and in their own app.

Would give zero if I could

Just another sad attempt at money grabbing. All we asked for is for the actual app to be fixed. What happened to the days when Gaia cared about their users? As a 12yr veteran of the site, this makes me sad.
