Black text on black background
I would be really interested to use this app, however I can’t actually read the recipe instructions because it looks like the developers have used black text over a black background so I can only see text when it’s been crossed out such as ingredients or the step headers.

Gelato was built in a time when dark mode of iOS wasn't supported, so there was no way for the app to support it. This has now been fixed in the latest update so you should no longer have black on black text. If you do run into issues feel free to reach out to contact@smarthound.uk as feedback through reviews can be exceedingly slow.
What happened to all the flavors
I purchased this app for $1.99 a few weeks back and now all the flavors are gone except for Van/Choc.

Hi there, this shouldn't have happened to you! Can you get in touch through the app by going to Settings -> Report a Bug? That way I can give you the codes to retrieve the lost flavours. I do apologise for this!
Perfect app for extremely tasty and smooth ice cream!
I have a sweet tooth, and Gelato is my new favourite app! Although I’m not a star in the kitchen, I do enjoy making my own food, especially desserts, as that allows for a greater variety than the basic selection that is on offer in stores. However, my track record isn’t great, and often my genius ideas turn out in a disaster … unless I have a very clear recipe. This is exactly why Gelato is perfect for me: not only can I choose from a wide range of flavours, the instructions are very detailed and so easy to follow. Every single one of the ice creams I’ve made with Gelato came out perfect, extremely tasty and smooth (and trust me, I have tried A LOT of them :)).
