The ads block me from seeing a row of gems. Very frustrating. Deleted
Freezes During Ad After Game Level.
I played and enjoyed this game for a few years but after iOS 12 update it now freezes after you have completed a level during the ad. So you no longer can advance to the next level you keep repeating the same level. It works on Airplane Mode....but that sucks.
Pros and Cons - Not a Fav
The Pros - Its a Gem game, and I love those. They are addicting. Like others, this one is, too. It is set up like most. Several levels you have to progress thru to get to the next. I like that it is timed, but not just at one minute like some games. It actually gives you a few minutes to complete a level so you don't feel like you are spazzing out by the end of the level. The colors are nice and bright. Easy to find each gem suit. I like that it comes in ios 7, since I'm still on an iPhone 4.
The Cons: The gems are tiny, at least on an iPhone 4 screen. They are easy to miss. It gives you a hint way too fast. I'm sure I can turn this off, maybe. It wants you to give a review after level 2 (because you've played so much by then and can predict the rest of the game.) It does insist that if you've loved it so far, you will love the rest of the levels. On level 3, right after it wanted you to review, telling you how much you will love the levels, it changes the layout. It becomes bigger and so the banner ad at the bottom now sits across the very last row of gems. At least on my screen. Now that's fun! And let's talk about ads for a sec. I don't mind ads. I get them. It's how we keep things free. I play games that have an ad in between every level. It is what it is. I'm patient. If I want it free, that's what I deal with, if I don't, I upgrade. But this one really takes the cake. This one has no less than 3 ads you have to click thru (X out of) between every level PLUS that banner taking up the bottom level. So... Yeah, I'm passing on this one. But you got the rest right. Besides the tiny gems, the rest was actually spot on for my taste in gem games. I wasn't a fan of the music either, but that's easy to solve. ;) I just can't get past that banner on the bottom. The rest I could learn to live with. But that banner right in my way... Yeah, that has to go.
