No design options
You can basically only design a total of 9 very basic rings. You cannot select channel set, multi stone, cathedral/basket, type of prong, and many other aspects needed to design your own ring. You’ll find a better ring just going to a store than using this app

The amount of "customization" is extremely limited, there's probably at most 20 engagement rings you can design by combining two or maybe three options for each of the following categories: band, ring, halo Y/N, gemstone or diamond. Not really a useful custom ring designer in my opinion

There are 3 options or less for every aspect of the custom ring. Pretty pointless unless you want to guarantee that you’ll be walking around with the exact ring as someone else
Misleading
This is not designing a ring. It’s choosing from a handful of options that are *very plain*. Every jewelry stone in the world has these rings. Basically either a solitaire or halo ring - 3 center stone shapes, 3 metal choices, 2 band choices. Blah... Nothing unique about these designs at this stage. It needs 20x more options.

Simply Customizable!
I surprised my girlfriend with an amazing delicate oval pavé ring as a congratulatory gift for a career milestone and she was equally astounded and thrilled! The process was easy, partly because I had an idea what she liked, after she attended a Gemist zoom call in March. She couldn’t stop taking about the ring and earring “Huggies” designs. Earrings may be next on my gift list, def from Gemist. The ring came in a week neatly presented in a discreet box, that once opened, splashed with the classy Gemist brand, highlighted by a beautiful green box. Overall, 6-star experience with Gemist and the app! Highly recommend.
