Event signups don’t work
Attempted to sign up for events twice now on two seperate releases, both times it was so glitchy that the app never actually let me sign up. Also never knew about wish lists, so priority went somewhere I couldn’t control. I feel jaded

Ok at best. Considering a lot if software devs are active board gamers I’m surprised the GenCon app is so mediocre.

Slow, clunky, missing functionality
Even when not at the con it loads slowly, refreshes and loses pages, and is challenging to navigate.
Add the cell service issues and the overload the con puts on the app itself and it’s nearly unusable during the event.
There are several key functions you can’t do in the app that are available in the web interface (notably wishlists) so there’s not much reason not to use the website.
The actual info contained is useful, but it’s hard to reach reliably.
P.S. Don’t even think about using the app for any time limited ticket purchase.

Why is the map South-Up?
Up until now, every single mapping app I have ever used has had North-up orientation. This is going to be my first time attending GenCon but fear I’m going to be lost all four days.
