Very poor app and website
As a long time premium member I find the website and app to be extremely poor.
Informative
This podcast is definitely a GEM. It is informative, entertaining, clever, easy to follow and funny. Once you start listening you will not stop.
Inspirational and Helpful
I discovered this podcast and the Genealogy Gems Premium membership a few years ago and it inspired me and prepared me to discover many interesting facts, documents and photos documenting about my ancestors’ lives, which I now can’t imagine living without knowing. Lisa Louise Cooke is an expert genealogist and a compelling story teller who conveys the importance of family history on many levels. Her education is helpful to all levels and her enthusiasm is infectious and comforting. Thank you Lisa! 😀

Awesome Genealogy Resource!
I love Lisa Louise Cooke’s Genealogy Gem! The show notes are amazing and have hot links to everything in the podcast! Very enjoyable to listen to as well! There’s a variety of subjects, guest speakers, music clips, stories, techie info good for everyday use and all presented in a digestible, interesting and upbeat podcast! Her website is a must have for genealogy gems!

I just found your podcasts last week and wow! ...have you already helped me in several ways! I have a fairly robust amount of research already completed, and even received confirmation of my eligibility to join my local DAR chapter! A Gem of a genealogy app
If you are getting into genealogy and family history then Lisa Louise Cook is the expert to follow. Her explanations, tip, suggestions and of course gems are excellent for beginners and longer term family history buffs. With this app it is much easier to get the podcast. Saves you going to iTunes and syncing.

Lisa is very informative I learn something every time I listen to one of her pod casts. Money well spent on the app and on premium membership. Keep up the wonderful work. I love that I can start stop rewind listen while I'm driving on that boring commute or cleaning or exercising. You can take it with you.

The best family research app
Genealogy Gems is the best of podcast out there. Lisa Louise Cooke does a fantastic job on keeping you up to date on the latest technology techniques to maximize your research. In addition the podcast gives you all the latest tips and tricks to help you find those hidden gems.

I thought I could look up family history but this is just videos. Not what I expected. Very disappointed.
so not worth it
I downloaded this app and used it a few times. Seems like every show starts with a 1/2 hour of commercials. Once they start talking its ok. Now after 5 times of using the voice is slured or so fast you can't understand what they are saying . Tried to contact but no one replies with a fix.. downloaded the updated version and that does not fix the problem. so not worth it.

Once again Lisa Louise Cooke has had the foresight to see what would be most useful to those who research our family histories! This application is an invaluble resource to me and I'm sure it will be to other reseachers as well. Lisa's Podcasts are easy to understand and informative for the beginner and advanced researcher alike. This iPhone application is just as helpful and inspirational as Lisa's Genealogy Gems Premium Podcasts and videos! I can't see how you will regret purchasing this app!
