UPDATE: as of ios26.3.1(a) the app would grab files from iCloud Drive files app if I simply was previewing it without the app open or active- it did it even with permission revoked. NOT SECURE. Their support site is “undeliverable” in my attempt to restore purchase (before subscription took over).
Find other apps- not trustworthy.
I bought this app years ago and have supported it. It appears to have moved to a subscription after a free trial. I searched apple and the developer’s site to find out what the price is. Couldn’t find anything. That makes it sketchy in my books. It’s now asking me to sign in and if I don’t it crashes. The reason I don’t want to sign in is that this aspect of the app never interested me AND I am concerned that it will sign me up for a subscription for what I purchased years ago. There are effects missing from the original version that I really liked. I dumped it and re-downloaded I and it worked briefly until it crashed. This is such a shame. So much potential. I would like the developer to respond regarding honouring the original purchase and explain why it requires sign up when I should already be in the database as I did originally have an account for the social media aspect but never used it. Subscription models for apps need to die. I’d happily pay for filter groups of add ons.

Money grab
Used to be fantastic. I don’t know how they can justify the monthly fee or the lifetime price now with no support for three years. Audio does not sync with videos anymore. I purchased this app years ago and kind of should’ve been grandfathered in, but they just want your money so anyone who bought the app, updated the app, or any app purchases are kind of out of luck. Also, it’s just not like it used to be. The UI is the same, which is still slightly clunky when trying to do things on the fly, but I guess that’s what happens when you don’t update an app for years yet you still want people to pay for something they’ve already paid for. Another sad app that I’ll probably delete off of my phone. I just love spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on apps since 2011, only to get screwed by half of them. You would think that the App Store would care but they don’t because they want money. I’m so sick of subscription apps that I have paid for that don’t grandfather you in and then still expect you to pay after you’ve purchased the app. It’s a gross practice and this company and the App Store should be ashamed of themselves.

An incredible app that I really hope never disappears
I used to be a professional photographer for all manner of events for about 5 years. As you can imagine that gave me a huge backstock of photos, and for such a long time I had no idea what to do with them.
A.I. visualization never felt right to me as a means of bringing old images new life, so one morning I started looking around apps that might help me in my goal of animating photography.
The results, have been unreal. With just a few weeks of practice, I was able to bring any photo I had new life, and old videos had even better results.
I had to use the app in many untraditional ways to get my results, but it completely allows for that. There are some issues, and it’s clear it hasn’t been updated in quite some time, but this is by far one of the best apps for any type of music visuals, creative photo manipulation, and it literally functions as an artwork generator if you learn how to use it enough.
I cannot find any info on the developers, but please please please find a way to keep this app going. The workflow is unrivaled, and it allows the user to create unimaginably unique art from their content. I plan on using this tool for many years as I continue to professionally produce visuals for concerts.
