This app does not work
Garbage app. Hardly loads up on launch which means you can’t even view your balance when you need to. It takes multiple attempts to simply transfer money from your accounts. Let’s just say if you like immediate access to your money this isn’t the app for you. I’d suggest opening an account with an actual functioning credit union. And it’s like the devs don’t care that you can’t get to your money cause it’s been broken for months and I’m doubting it’ll ever be fixed.

Worst bank
Literally the worst bank and the worst app. You can never get into the app, it just spins and spins. Always delays. You can’t get an updated balance until hours later. You can’t transfer money on a weekend.
Useless
Does not update in real time, and it never shows the true available balance. For instance when I’m send money it will not reflect on my balance but it will show up in my transactions… or when I switch money from checking to savings it will not reflect on the balance for a few days, only on the transactions

Useless. Can't see balance.
It's hard to know what the point of a banking app even is if you can't even see the balance in your account. When it loads, which it often doesn't or takes several minutes to do, there is no ability to see your balance or any of your accounts. If you go to funds transfer, your accounts don't appear in the drop-down menu. Only external accounts.
I don't even write reviews for apps. This one is just so bad I thought it was important to tell people and hopefully the developers that their app does not work and they need to get it together. It's slow, It's nonfunctional, it's useless.

Bad App since last 2 or 3 updates
Enough times of me not getting into my account that I am seriously considering moving my money. This lack of access is concerning. I have deleted their app, downloaded a new one, then have to reset my account, a lengthy process, it ridiculous & worrisome. This is one place one should not expect problems & worry. I’ve even had to cancel order processes because I couldn’t get into my account.
There is no message, just the spinning twirling of a circle, until I give up.
I truly dislike having to write this review, but it doesn’t look like gfcu is going to do anything about this problem until us customers are gone.

Buffering
Cannot log into check my accounts. It’s forever buffering. Horrible app.
Disturbing abuse of trust!
Insisting that I obtain an iPhone that supports 16.0 version is astoundingly disturbing!
As Generations customer I expect customer-friendly service. I can’t continue with the previous app nor is my iPhone allowed to use this new app.

Worst bank app ever
Title says it all. I just generally dislike this bank period but this app does nothing to redeem the bank. I cannot find basic info about my account, charges take a week to clear, I can’t even see what my daily and weekly limit is for Zelle.

The app is lacking a lot of things other banking apps have and If they do have them the interface is very dated. The app sometimes crashes however it seems the smart deposit bug has been fixed. For some reason my Zelle doesn’t connect with my bank either. The app does enough but it could use an update to be more effective and efficient.

Stupid rules and bad support
I got charged $28 for a transfer that got cancelled due to insufficient funds even though it later got transferred even thought it was cancelled so I lost $28 for no reason at all.
App is outdated

Efficient & Useful App
I have been with GFCU since 1998 when it was SACEFCU & have not had any issues. I have not had any problems with this GFCU app, it does all my transactions smoothly & quickly. My needs are simple, I really need & appreciate GFCU’s attention so my money is cared for securely. Also I am very careful in using the app as I want my transactions to be handled properly.
I cannot figure out what others are writing about where they are having problems. Beats me!

SESSION COOKIES
WHY must you have session cookies on your website? They do NOT add any extra security and just AGGRAVATE your customers!!
Zelle doesn't work with app.
Generations STILL hasn't fixed their Zelle integration and the app is clunky and poorly suited to a mobile device. Totally unsurprising from a credit union which still lacks authenticator support for their login page.
Mobile Deposit Constantly Broken
I’m not sure why this issue has yet to be corrected, but the fact that I can no longer deposit checks in the app, and closer branches have closed, has me contemplating taking my business elsewhere. Driving all the way to the main branch just to deposit a check is not efficient and takes way too much time out of my day.
