Sound stopped working

This app is absolutely brilliant but after 3 months of using it, suddenly the sound stopped working. I checked the settings and turned up my phone volume but still nothing. :( It’s unfortunate because igbo is a tonal language and it is hard to learn without the sound.

UPDATE: after contacting the developer, I was advised to toggle the MUTE BUTTON ON MY IPHONE and it started working again. So the problem is solved and I can go back to learning. Thank you for this!!

I was trying to find an app that I could learn where I could learn Igbo and this is the best one. I even asked my mom if the words and phrases were correct she said yess!!
