Spotify IOS compatibility
Love genius and their app, it’s incredibly helpful and easy to use and I love the community.
One major thing that has bugged me for a while though is that when I switched from android to iOS, I could automatically select the song I am listening to anymore. I can if I use Apple Music but on iOS they don’t allow you to enable the feature for Spotify. Would love to see this brought in and I would use the app so much more!

Hilariously terribly optimisation
Your phone must endure the ten deadly plagues of Egypt to see what people think about the lyrics of a death grips song on this app. Use this app for more than 2 minutes or click on more than 2 things and your phone will overheat and turn to lava and brick up like a computer from the 90’s. Incredibly awful experience all round

Extremely laggy!!!!
I wont deny that i dont have the greatest phone, but after trying it out on my friend's perfectly new and fast phone its still crazy laggy!! how can this huge of an app be so poorly optimized???

app literally doesn’t work
i have the latest iphone, latest update, i start the application and it just freezes. restarting the app or my phone doesn’t work .

Music keeps pausing
I used to use genius all the time for learning new songs in different languages and played the music vid at the bottom with no problem. It was only until recently that it started pausing randomly which I’m pretty sure is because of the adverts on the bottom of the app, but it’s really getting on my nerves because it sometimes stops abt 4 seconds after pressing play again! Pls fix this

Lyric Cards
Genuinely a huge fan of this app and would give it 4 and a half stars if I could because I use it often and it’s really useful and informative. However, the new Lyric Card layout is for lack of a better word, ugly. It just doesn’t look as good as it used to. And I really love making lyric cards. I make them every other day so I’ve held off on writing this for a few months but it seems as though you guys aren’t going to change it back which sucks. If I could have one request it’d be just to have the old lyric card format back, or maybe the option to choose between the two. Thank you.

I use this app daily and it pisses me off daily
The search function on here is nigh unusable. The layout when looking at an artists discography makes me wanna throw my phone into a lake. I shouldn’t have to fully type out a song and artist name AND sometimes an album name too, just to find a single song. I’m looking up the lyrics to Video Games by Lana Del Rey. Why do I have to sift through three pages of songs with “video game” in the title, just to reach the ACTUAL SONG WITH THAT TITLE?!? It’s not called rap genius anymore. Stop prioritizing hip hop.

I absolutely love this app its probably the only app that doesn’t feel like its based on algorithms working against me, i was always interested in song lyrics and other people’s interpretations, this is so handy! I do have on e issue tho, when i try to make an annotation on a phone, instead of the app selecting the lyric (in yellow) my phone just selects a part of the text (in blue) to like cut/copy/paste, like i hope you know what i mean i hope youd fix it, i think just a tap to select lyric would be easier than long press
